(Carley's POV)
I was sweating buckets. I looked at my phone and saw it was 5:30 in the morning. I sigh because I had a nightmare the twins didn't make it. I mean I'm 9 months pregnant. So I should be able to have them. Since I was afraid that the nightmare would happen again. I just stayed up and played on my phone.
I felt like a rush of pain go through. I felt the bed and it felt wet. I put my flashlight on and did see wet on the bed. Then I felt pain again.
"Oh god" I said then started to move Eric. Well I tried but he was like a brick. He wouldn't wake up at all.
So I do the only thing I could. "I'm sorry honey" I said softly. Then slapped him
He jumped up. He looks around and saw me. "Did you just slap me?" He asked
"Eric......it's time" I said to him
"What do you mean? It's time for bed yes" He said and tried to go back to sleep
"No Eric. It's time as in baby 5 and 6 are coming" I said to him
He wakes up for real and looks at me. "Are you serious? Carley please tell me you're serious" He said
"I am. Feel the bed" I said putting his hand where the wetness is.
"Oh fuck. Um so you are. I got to wake the kids, get the go bag. Call my mom" He said freaking out
"Eric. Sweety we have been through this 3 times already. Why are you freaking out?" I asked him
"Because this is our second time having twins" He said
"I know but we will be ok" I said grabbing his hand
He sighs deeply and relaxes. "I got to call my mom" He said
"Ok then call her" I said. "But first help me with getting ready" I said
"Yes I will help you" He said nodding
We get ready for the hospital. Then I heard a knock on our door. Eric looks confused but opens the door.
"EJ buddy? What are you doing up?" He asked our son
"I heard talking" He said tired
"Go back to sleep baby" I said
"Mom are you ok?" He asked
"Yeah just feeling pain" I said
"Why?" He asked
"Your new brother and sister are coming" I said smiling at him
"Really?" He asked
"Yep. But you can go back to sleep. Your grandma Steph is coming" I said
"Ok" He said. He comes over and gives me a hug. "Good luck mom" He said then walked back to his room
I heard the doorbell ring. "I got it" Eric said going downstairs
I wait for him to come back up to help me. Which he did do. We got down the stairs easily. Eric said to watch our kids to his mom.
Then Eric and I head to our car. My contractions are about 15 minutes apart.
It has been an hour since I woke up from my nightmare. And 50 minutes since my water broke
Eric drove quickly to the hospital which was around 20 minute. The contractions are now 10 minutes apart
It's currently 7 in the morning. We got in a room pretty quickly. They measured me and I'm 7 cm. The contractions are getting worse.
