(Eric's POV)
I woke up this morning. Once I finally got out of bed I did my morning routine like always. Then went into my son's room first. EJ's room I mean. I always check on him first since he's my first born. And I don't want him to feel left out. So I make it my mission to check on him first. Once I saw he was still asleep. I go check on the girls next. Then Noah after. Once I saw they were all still sleeping.
I went downstairs because I smelled food. Carley wasn't in bed with me when I woke up. So I'm thinking she's making it. But once I went downstairs and went to the kitchen I saw my mom, Tessa, Mikey and Jason were here. Carley was also sitting with them.
"What are you doing guys here?" I asked yawning
"I asked them the same thing" Carley said as she ate food
"Mom, did you make us food?" I asked
"Yes I did. Since I came here early without a explanation" She said putting a plate in front of me
"Mom you didn't have to do that" I said as I sat down with Carley
"Jason do you wanna go wake up their kids?" Mom asked her husband
"Sure thing sweetie" Jason said and went upstairs to wake up our kids
"Mom what is this for? Really?" I asked her
"I can't just come to surprise my first son?" She asked
"No mom. Especially when you live 20 minutes away from here. So it's kind of out of the way" I said to her
"Fine we were on our way to Disney. And we decided to drop by to check on you guys" She said
"Mike, Tessa is she lying?" I asked my youngest siblings
"Yes" Mikey said
"What's the truth?" I asked three
"She just missed you. But we are not going to Disneyland" Tessa said
I looked at my mom. "Mom you didn't have to trick Mikey and Tessa to come. If you wanted to see me, they are old enough to stay home alone" I said to her
"Last time I let them stay home alone Mikey got hurt" Mom said
"Again Mikey?" I asked my youngest brother
"Hey it wasn't my fault!" He said
"Who's fault was it then?" I asked
"Paul's! He like pushed me against the door and my head got busted open again" He said sadly
"You and Paul got to stop fighting even if it's not real" I said
"I know" He said looking down
"Tess where were you?" I asked my youngest sibling
"I was with my friend Eric" She said
"But mom just said....." I said confused
"I was with Emily while Mikey and Paul were at the house alone" She said to me
"God Mikey why do you always get hurt?" I asked my brother
"Usually it's not my fault Eric!" He said annoyed
"Eric. Why don't you go check on Noah" Carley said
"Ok" I said and got up to go to my youngest son room

"Thanks Carley" Mikey said
"Eric was getting irritated. And when he is it's not fun for anyone" I said
