We are used to hearing about happy endings. All the movies, fairytales, and books are about it - that happy ending that makes everything better.

When I lost my grandpa 3 years ago, I thought to myself that in the end, we are all just stories for others to hear or tell.

The ending does matter that much, though, because in the end, "spoiler alert," we all die, sooner or later.

I think what truly matters about us is the middle part. All the experiences, all the pain, all the loss, all the happiness, all the moments that made us feel alive.I learned that you can't skip chapters, that's not how life works. You can't unmeet some characters and you might never bring back others. You will have some chapters that will completely crush you and some chapters that will make you fall in love with your story. You always have to keep going, even though you won't enjoy all of it. That's how it goes, so make your life a good fulfilling story because it goes by quickly and you can't turn back to the previous

chapter.

How is your story so far?

I think mine is bittersweet.
