Greta has built a nice life for herself and for her daughter, Isabella, in New Haven. Going back to Rockford wasn't in any of Greta's future plans, but the death of Beatrice Gill brings her back to her hometown. She has inherited everything her parents built in their lifetime, including the prestigious Gill name.
As Greta struggles to adjust to moving back home, Bella finds a friend in her Glee Club teacher, Carson Shaw.
