Murder Drones Oneshots (mostly Nuzi)

MD Vampire AU Part 14

N raced back to Uzi's apartment so she wouldn't be alone for long, but still hesitated outside her door, he was worried she'd be angry at him again.

It doesn't matter. She's everything to you and you will protect her regardless of what she says. If you've screwed up, take it one step at a time.

Breathing heavily to clear his lungs, N knocked on the door, hoping Uzi would be well enough to answer it. A moment passed and N was worried that Uzi may be too weak to get the door, but he finally heard the key in the lock.

The door opened quick as Uzi stood in the doorway, she grinned at N, who was blushing mad.

Uzi had showered while N was gone, and fluffed up her hair to be a large purple poof on her head. Better yet, she'd dressed herself in a plain black dress, it was a basic dress that honestly looked a bit like a T-Shirt, but it was tight enough to compliment Uzi's figure.
Finally, Uzi was wearing silver fishnet tights and jewellery, shinning slightly as she moved.

"Hey N~" Uzi said, practically singing the words, the sickness from her voice that morning had vanished. N stammered slightly as Uzi grabbed his hand to lead him in. Once they got inside her smile shifted slightly to something more anxious, and she rubbed the back of her head, "So I found some old movies I wanna try, you in?" she asked shyly.

N grinned back at her and scooped her into his arms before walking to the sofa, Uzi blushed and nuzzled into Ns chest, slightly gripping onto his uniform.

When they sat down N made sure to keep Uzi in his lap, smiling as she squirmed, blushing brighter. Eventually Uzi gave up on trying to escape and lifted the remote, as she turned her face to the TV screen, it cracked- making both N and Uzi jump.

"Can-Can all vampires do that or-?" Uzi quickly questioned. N looked down at her, eyes wide in shock as he mumbled "I don't think so". Uzi's eyes went wide and she shook slightly, N noticed and lightly kissed her, snapping her out of her trance. Uzi looked surprised, but quickly smiled again, grabbing the top of Ns shirt to kiss his neck lightly.

Whatever happened with the TV could be a problem for tomorrow. N and Uzi were more focused on each other, though N could sense there was something else on his girlfriend's mind as she licked his neck.
After a few minutes Uzi stopped with Ns neck, and he adjusted her to be facing him, he noticed that the bite mark was still bright red on her neck.

"Are you...hiding something Uzi?" N asked, raising an eyebrow as he adjusted his girlfriend's seating position, pulling her further up on his lap.
Uzi grinned as N pulled her right into his chest "I got you something~" she whispered, a certain rhythm behind her words. N raised an eyebrow suspiciously but went along with it, allowing her to leave his lap and run to her bedroom, he grinned at the idea of Uzi picking something out for him. He prepared himself to say something positive regardless of what he felt, though he was also optimistic about whatever it was, since Uzi seemed to know him so well.

A minute passed and Uzi came back from the bedroom grinning even wider, she held out a small bag from behind her back, earning a raised eyebrow from N. Cautiously he reached inside and-

A loud knock sounded through the front door, making both Uzi and N turn towards it, N stood up first while Uzi frowned at Ns unrevealed present before following him to the door.

N opened the door to reveal V, back in her vampire uniform standing with her arms crossed, she scanned N up and down smiling smugly. V was trying to ignore Uzi who had appeared at Ns side, protectively clutching onto his arm, he was hers.

The girls looked at each other for a split second- communicating silently- trying to see who would break first-

It was V.
