Murder Drones Oneshots (mostly Nuzi)

Wedding Day Part 2

N stood at the alter, hands swinging slightly at his sides while waiting in anticipation, keen to see the beautiful Uzi walk down the aisle. His comforting of her earlier had made him even more determined to be the best husband possible, whatever that standard was.

His best man was by his side, and so were a couple of worker drones, N didn't have many male friends, but Thad encouraged a couple of his to join so N could have a good number of 4 groomsmen.

The wedding was happening outside, with black pews set up on either side of a white fabric path, the alter was upon simple white stairs but decorated with yellow and purple flowers.

J was sitting in the 'mother of the groom' seat, looking quite honoured at the title she'd been offered, N had decided that she was the best option since Tessa wasn't around. Plus, despite J's bullying over the years, she was always going to be a part of his life- specifically a key part that led him to be with Uzi- he'd always be grateful for that.

A moment passed when music started, the guests all turned, smiling at the Door 1 opening behind them. Lizzy came out on Doll's arm, Lizzy carrying a large basket of indigos and dandelions while Doll carried a black pillow with the silver rings resting on top.

Uzi had said that she didn't mind what colour the members of the bridal party wore, as long as they avoided black or white, and preferably not anything too bright. Lizzy was wearing a knee length soft grey dress that was loose around her legs, Doll had chosen a red dress similar to her prom one, but was more basic and tight around the legs.

The maid of honour also came out, standing just behind the two workers, a lot of the male drones blushed at the sight of V. She was undeniably the most beautiful drone on Copper 9, though if you asked N he'd of course say other wise.

V was wearing a faded yellow dress with a similar structure to her prom one, but it was looser around the waist as to not take too much attention from Uzi, still the shiny fabric made it hard to deny V's beauty.

While N admired the bridal parties outfits, and was stunned by how well they all seemed to fit together despite being different colours, his eyes were still peaking round them all for-

Uzi...

She appeared from behind V, dressed a long black dress that reached past her feet, the dress had yellow and purple stars sown into the skirt and train. Her hair was brushed back, held in place by her thin black veil, which itself was decorated with yellow embroidery.

It was hard to see her face from behind the veil, but everyone from the pews to the alter could imagine her face beneath, they knew she'd look stunning today- but the dress was more than they'd ever imagine the colony's freak to ever wear.

It was certainly more than N had been expecting, his face was completely yellow as he gazed at his bride, unable to look away. Little did he know, but Uzi could see his face from behind her veil, and was grinning at the idea of blowing him away to this extent.

Time seemed to slow down as Uzi & Khan walked down the aisle, the proud father beaming at his friends as he walked, grinning like nobody had ever seen. Those at the alter shivered in anticipation, N would be able to remove the veil once they reached the alter, they'd be able to truly get married.

After what felt like an eternity Khan released Uzi from his arm and she ascended the steps up to N, walking slowly in order not to trip over her long dress, it was nighttime- and the only light source for the wedding was the stars and moon above. It was beautiful. Almost as beautiful as Uzi's smile once N finally lifted the veil from her radiant face.

"Drones of all models, we are here today for the union of Serial Designation N and Uzi Doorman, the first marriage between two drones so different" The teacher bluntly read, he was only officiating because no other drone had the authority to, at least no other drone alive did. Deliberately the grumpy teacher skipped over the 'boring' stuff as Uzi had suggested previously, and only read out what was deemed important "You may now read the vows, Uzi, you go first because I flipped a coin" the teacher finished.
