𝐢 took a warm shower and felt so relaxed. Sitting in the living Room, turned on the TV and got some snacks from the shelf.

I sighed seeing my boss calling the phone, reaching over i picked it up placing it to my ear " hello ?" I said.
" Mrs Bailey you don't pick up the phone anymore " his annoying voice asked, quickly I swallow my pride and spoke up " yes sir, just went for a run ".
" well a party is being held at the Martinair Complex a few blocks from the office, I wasn't asking for much just for u to stop by and show respect to the company " he finished.
I rolled my eyes already knowing this was going to be a whole lot of work. " sure I'll get some things in place then " I forcefully accepted knowing I've been dreaming off the state position to take over once he has retired.
" OK good this is happening Saturday at 5 don't be late " he says in a hurry then hung up.
Throwing the phone on the couch, I got up from my comfortable position and into the kitchen to put the empty snacks in the bin.
Walking to the sink I washed my hands and gently pat them dry , removing my phone off the charger and place it towards my face automatically opening to the home screen.
" siri call Bestie 2 " I said leaning against the counter.
" calling bestie 2 " she repeated.
Once the call had connected, Ryan started to nag off my ears talking to someone else in the background.

" hello my time " I said practically annoyed with his complaints that aren't relevant to whatever we had going on right now .
He turns his attention to me and suddenly a bright smile appeared on his brown face " yuh find man " he laughs , but I looked on confused.

Speaking of which haven't contacted me since I dropped him at the bus stop. I didn't want to feel bad about doing it , but neither was I wiling to open my home to a complete stranger.

Our boss made sure we had everything prepared for occasions like this , so Normally there would be a stylist for every single party or abroad meeting.
