Chapter Thirty Six: Scoldings.
"Good morning, princess!" Shubman greeted her, planting a gentle kiss on her forehead.
Vaidehi groaned sleepily, burying her face deeper into the pillow. "No, let me sleep," she mumbled, her voice thick with drowsiness.
Shubman chuckled softly, his eyes twinkling with affection. "Okay, you sleep here," he offered, starting to rise from the bed.
But before he could move, Vaidehi reached out and grabbed his hand, her touch gentle yet firm. "No," she protested, her voice soft but determined. "I want you here."
A warm smile spread across Shubman's face as he looked down at her, his heart swelling with love. "Alright, princess," he agreed, settling back down beside her. "I'll stay right here."
With a contented sigh, Vaidehi snuggled closer to him, finding solace in his presence.
"Your biceps are so cool," Vaidehi remarked, her fingers lightly tracing the contours of Shubman's muscles.
Shubman grinned, flexing his arm slightly to accentuate his muscles. "Thanks, babe," he replied, enjoying her admiration.
