At around 11p.m we went home with Meredith and Derek, Grace was asleep in my arms. I was about to get in the car when...

...: Cristina wait!

Me: Oh hey Owen

Owen: Um, I wanted to spend the day with you two tomorrow, I'll take the day off, I mean if you want

Me: Oh yes sure, but are you sure your girlfriend would be okay about that

Owen: Don't worry about it

Me: Okay then come pick me up at Meredith's tomorrow morning

Owen: Okay see you tomorrow bye

I got in the car and sat down with Grace on my laps

Meredith: What did he want?

Me: He wants to spend the day with Grace and me tomorrow, I said okay

Derek: I cannot believe you didn't tell us about the kid Cristina, all this time

Me: Yeah well it wasn't easy to get out

Meredith: Yeah Derek what do you want her to say, hey I have a 4 years old daughter, she is Owen's daughter and I never told him about her.

Derek: I'm not saying this but we could have helped you

Me: Doesn't matter anymore

Derek parked and we got out of the car, I said good night to the kids and went to bed. I couldn't sleep so I stayed awake for awhile in the dark, looking at Grace. This kid changed my life, I never thought I would have liked being a mother

When I got home after the dinner I got into my pjs and sat down on the couch to watch a little TV, today was a really weird day, I just learned that I was the father of a 4 years old little girl, that Cristina had lied to me for over four years but, surprisingly, I wasn't mad at her. My cell-phone started to ring, it was Amelia.

Me: Hey

Amelia:...

Me: Hello?

Amelia:...

Me: Amelia are you crying?

Amelia: Owen...

Me: Yes?

Amelia: Owen I love you, please don't leave me because of the kid

Me: I wasn't gonna leave you

Amelia: I know you always wanted a kid, but please I love you, and for the first time I am happy, so think before you do something stupid, please

Me: Amelia don't worry, I love you too, and it's not because Grace came in my life that I'm gonna abandon you

Amelia: Thank you

Me: I'm gonna get some sleep now, bye

Amelia: Bye

I hung up, I knew she wasn't worried about Grace, but about Cristina. Everybody knows that Cristina was the love of my life, my soulmate, she saved me. But it was over with Cristina and it took me a long time to get over her, I didn't want to be left like that again.
