I was in the lobby sitting on a chair and Morgan was asleep on my shoulder, Owen came in and sat next to me

Owen: Are you okay?

Me: Yeah I'm fine

Owen: If you need to talk or anything you tell me, okay I'm here, you page me I'm here

Me: Okay, I'm gonna stay with her for now, I know how it feels and it's good to have somebody with you, I don't wanna wake her up

Owen: Okay, see you later

Me: See you

He left and a nurse came up to me

Nurse: Dr. Yang?

Me: Yes?

Nurse: Mrs. Jane Burke is looking for you

Me: Would you mind telling her to come here I don't wanna wake her up

Nurse: Sure

I saw Mrs. Burke, Mr. Burke and Emma coming towards me

Me: Mr. Burke, Mrs. Burke

Mr. Burke: Dr. Yang

Jane: Where is he, I wanna see him

Me: I will bring you to his room, but are you sure you wanna wake Morgan up?

Jane: Yes wake her up

Me: Morgan, Morgan honey wake up

Morgan: What?

Me: Your grandparents are here, we're gonna go see your dad

Morgan: Hey

Jane: Oh Morgan Sweetie I'm glad you're okay

Morgan: I'm not okay

Mr. Burke: Why? What happened to you?

Morgan: My father died

Jane: I know it's hard, but we need to be strong for him, come on let's go see him

I got up and brought them to his room, I stayed in the corner while they were doing their things. Derek came in

Jane: Dr. Shepherd

Derek: Mrs. Burke, I'm so sorry for your loss

Jane: I-I don't understand, what happened?

Derek: We don't know the reason of the brain swelling and the bleeding out, he just had some memory loss, now we can do an autopsy on him to find the reason

Jane: You said memory loss, he didn't remember who he was?

Derek: He did, the last thing he remembered was, it was the fact that he was getting married to Cristina, he thought today was his wedding day, he had no memory of the past 15 years

Jane: He didn't know he had daughters?

Derek: He didn't recognize Morgan, he thought he was still engaged to Dr. Yang, he didn't remember anything else

Jane: At least his last memory was a happy memory

Morgan: He died not remembering us, he died on my birthday and he didn't even remember who I am

Me: It's your birthday today?

Morgan: Yeah, that's why we went to that restaurant, and because of that now he is dead, he is dead thinking the woman he loved didn't love him
