Me: What's up?

Paramedic: 62 years old female, she was in the back of the car and on the side where the car hit, vitals were unstable in the field

Me: Owen? What's wrong

Paramedic: 66 years old male, obvious injuries to the right arm

Paramedic: 10 years old female, she has a very big hole in her chest

Paramedic: 4 years old female, she's stable, her leg was crushed in the impact

Paramedic: 7 years old female, only a dislocated shoulder I think but we need to run more scans

Me: Owen! Why did you call me?

Owen: Cristina...

He pointed at Trauma Room 2 and I opened the door

Me: Oh my goodness is that?

April: Cristina you can't be in here

Me: Sure I can

April: We all know who she is okay get out, please

I closed the door and looked around the ER

Meredith: Cristina what's wrong go see the victim with the hole in her chest

Me: Mer' that's my niece, the girl is my niece

Meredith: What?

Me: That's my mother in there

My sight blurred and I felt like I was falling so I held onto the wall

Meredith: Cristina!

Me: I'm fine, I'm just fine go and give me gloves

She handed me a pair of gloves and I went to a bed

Nurse: Her vitals are stable, we're giving her blood but she keeps coding

Me: Okay, Joy! Joy look at me! It's Cristina you're gonna be fine okay, can you open your eye? Good very good you hear me right? Awesome, we're gonna take you to a room and you're gonna sleep for a while and then you'll be all fixed

She nodded again

Me: Okay bring her to OR3 I'll be right behind you

Owen: Cristina what are you doing?

Me: I'm going in for surgery

Owen: You can't operate on her

Me: I can and you're not gonna change my mind

Owen: I can't let you operate on her just because you're my wife

Me: No you're gonna let me operate because I'm the only one available and you know I'm the best. Now please find her parents tell them I'm in surgery

Owen: Okay good luck

Cristina left and I went to trauma room 2 where Helen was

Me: Meredith what are you gonna do?

Meredith: We're going in for surgery right now, she has a lot of internal bleeding imma try and fix it

Me: Okay Cristina is in surgery right now, try and update me as soon as you can so I can talk to her daughter

Meredith: Okay

Me: Thanks

I left the Trauma 2 and went to Trauma 1 where the dad was
