I was in the ER working on some patients charts when Kepner came in running

April: Car accident victim coming in

I got up and took a trauma gown

The paramedics came in with a man really messed up

Paramedic: 54 years old male, had a heart attack in his car and flipped over

Me: He had a heart attack?

Paramedic: Yeah

Me: Page cardio

A minute later Cristina came in running

Cristina: What do we have

Me: 54 years old male, had a heart attack

Cristina: Okay bring him to the OR

Cristina and I scrubbed in and we got into the OR, there were a lot of complications. After 7 hours in the OR everybody was tired an quiet. I was working on one of his nerves when Cristina grabbed my hand. I looked at her, she fell

Me: Cristina? Cristina!

Nurse: She fainted

Me: Go get somebody to help her and call Dr. Altman and Dr. Kepner to take over for us

I sat on the floor and took her head in my hands. She was burning, nurses came to take her and April and Teddy came in

Teddy: What happened?

Me: I don't know I need to go with her, finish here please

April: Of course

I ran after the people that took Cristina, I took her hand and checked her pulse, it was really weak

Me: Cristina, Cristina honey wake up

Nurse: We need to get her to a room, Dr. Hunt, we need to give her medicine

Me: I know I'm a trauma surgeon, I know what do, Cristina baby please wake up

Cristina: Wh-what's happening?

Me: Oh god, you scared me, honey stay with me okay

Cristina: What happened?

Me: You fainted, don't worry everything's gonna be alright I'm here okay

They brought her to a room and and put her in a bed. I took a wet towel and put it on her face and her neck, I gave her a glass of water with sugar in it

Me: Are you feeling better?

Cristina: Yeah I'm okay, thank you very much

Me: You need to slow down, you never sleep

Cristina: I'm never tired I don't know what happened

A doctor came in

Doctor: Dr. Yang I need to order a blood test, you probably had a crisis of hypoglycemia
