Cristina: I need to get dressed, I don't wanna move

Me: I need to go

Cristina: Well I'll see you tonight at home

Me: Yeah

I kissed her took my scrubs and put them on, I left the On-Call room. I saw Arizona in the hallways

Me: Arizona what are you doing here, you're not suppose to be back until next week

Arizona: Oh I'm just coming to pick up Callie for lunch

Me: Oh okay, hi Timothy

Arizona: Tim, you say hi, *in a baby voice* hi Dr. Hunt, hi

Me: Well it was really nice talking with you Timothy, bye Arizona

Arizona: Bye bye

I left and went in the ER, Kepner was handling a rush of people with the flu

Me: Dr. Kepner

April: Hi Dr. Hunt

Me: You are doing a good job, keep it up

April: It's to be expected, it's particularly cold today

Me: The holidays

April: Yeah

Me: You're doing great

April: Thanks

The phone rang, she picked up

April: Uh-uh, uh-uh, oh shout, we're overflowed with the flu, okay bring him with the helicopter, yeah not the ER

Me: What's happening?

April: A man found frozen in his car that was buried under the snow, they are bringing him by helicopter

Me: Okay we need cardio, general, plastics and probably ortho on this page Yang, Grey, Avery and Torres

April: Right away sir

Me: Tell them to meet me up there

I took 6 trauma gowns, put one on and took the elevator to the helipad, behind me Cristina Meredith and April were arriving, I gave them the trauma gowns

April: I can't find Callie Torres

Me: She left 10 minutes ago with Arizona, she'll be back for now we need to monitor him and make sure his organs aren't shutting down

Jackson arrived with a gurney

Me: Okay back away they are landing

The helicopter landed and the paramedics brought the man out, he was barely breathing and all blue

Paramedic: 45 years old male, found in his car buried under the snow, has trouble breathing

Cristina started listening to his heart

Cristina: I can't hear anything, his heart is literally frozen

Meredith: We need to get him to the OR before his lungs shut down

Cristina: We need to warm up his heart first, he could die

Me: I think there is a way to do both at the same time

Cristina: How?

Me: Bailey did it once, you put him on a ventilator and warm his heart and at the same time Dr. Grey works on the lungs outside of the body

Meredith: You want me to take his lungs OUT?!

Cristina: No that's actually a really good idea, when the heart is warm I bring him to the OR and you put the lungs back in, that's genius
