I was checking on a patient who was 3 days post-op from a hip replacement surgery when Owen came in the room

Owen: Dr. Torres, I need to ask you for a service

Me: Of course I'll be right back

Owen: I need you to take Grace with you tonight please

Me: Of course why? What happened?

Owen: It's Cristina she fainted in the middle of surgery, she needs to rest and I wanna stay with her tonight, to make sure she's okay

Me: Okay sure, I'll go check on her later maybe, I hope she's okay

Owen: Don't worry she's fine

Me: Okay

He left and I went back to my patient. When I was done there I went to check on Arizona, she was talking to David Green

Me: Hi honey

Arizona: Hey, how are you?

Me: I'm good, just wanted to tell you we are taking Grace with us tonight, Cristina fainted and they're keeping her for observation tonight and Owen wants to stay with her so I accepted to take Grace

Arizona: Is she alright?

Me: I guess, Owen told me she was okay

Arizona: Okay we'll see you later

Me: Bye Dr. Green

David: Goodbye Dr. Torres

I left them and went back to check on other patients

Callie left and I went back to talking to Dr. Green

David: I guess it's not a good time to talk about Noah to Dr. Yang

Me: It's not, should we call Dr. Altman, I know Cristina trusts her with her patients

David: Maybe we should ask Dr. Yang before contacting anyone

Me: Okay let's go see her

We went to room 439 and opened the door. Cristina was laying in the bed with Grace, they were both asleep.

Me: Should we wake her up?

...: it's fine I'm already awake

Me: I'm so sorry we woke you up

Cristina: It's Fine, what do you need?

Me: Well, this morning Noah came in, he had a heart attack, I think the heart we gave him isn't good, what should we do?

Cristina: Well we need another transplant, he is three we can't do anything else

David': The heart is too weak to support him until we find a new heart

Cristina: Put in an Elvade until we find one, I'll be out of here tomorrow

Arizona: I don't think Owen will let you start working until next week

Cristina: Well we'll see about that

Arizona: Oh and also, Callie and I are taking Grace home with us, he wants to stay with you tonight

Cristina: Okay I'll page you when she wakes up

Arizona: Okay bye Cris, hope you get better

Cristina: Thanks bye, goodbye Dr. Green

David: Goodbye

We left the room and went back to Noah's room, we entered, his parents were there

Me: So Mr. and Mrs. Douglas, we need to insert an Elvade wire in Noah's heart so he can survive until we find a new heart

Mr. Douglas: Will Dr. Yang perform the surgery?

Me: No she had a little problem, she will not be working so we are going to ask another surgeon to perform the surgery, she was Dr. Yang's teacher, she taught her what she knows, she's really good

Mrs. Douglas: Can we meet her?

Me: Of course, Dr. Green can you page Dr. Altman please?

David: Sure

We stayed there and I started explaining the surgery to them, wen Teddy and Henry came in

Teddy: Hello Dr. Robbins, hello Dr. Green

David: Hi Dr. Altman, hello Dr. Burton

Teddy: So are you Noah?

Noah: Yes

Me: Dr. Altman, as you know about Dr. Yang's condition she will not be able to perform the surgeries on Noah. We need you to put an Elvade wire in

Teddy: Of course, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas will you allow me to have Dr. Burton scrub in on the surgery?

Mrs. Douglas: Is he an intern?

Henry: I am and I would really love to learn from your son's surgery

Mrs. Douglas: Sure

Teddy: Thank you, Dr. Burton follow me please

Henry and her left the room and I looked at my watch, it was 6 pm

Me: Okay we will come back tomorrow morning for Noah's surgery, I'm asking you to keep him from eating anything until tomorrow

Mr. Douglas: Of course

David: Goodbye

We left the room and I was paged to Cristina's room

Me: Dr. Green I will see you tomorrow I need to leave

David: Bye

I went to Cristina's room, Owen was there and Grace was up

Cristina: Here are the keys of my apartment if you need anything for Grace, thank you for taking her

Arizona: Of course, Grace let's go you need to let mommy rest

Grace: Okay bye mom see you tomorrow, bye dad

Owen: Bye honey and remember what we said?

Grace: Yes

Cristina: Okay bye baby, I love you

Grace: I love you too bye

I took Grace's hand and went to look for Callie, she was waiting for me in the lobby

Me: Okay we're good to go, where's Tim?

Callie: I thought you were taking him

Me: No I went to get Grace

Callie: Okay I'm gonna get him wait in the car

I went in the car, put Grace's seat belt on and waited, Callie came back in with Timothy and we went to pick Sofia up from school.
