I sat down at my desk and looked around, I had just finished giving my speech and it was really late. I decided to go home and go to sleep. I took my keys, my purse and left. When I got home I got in pjs and went to bed but i stopped in front of the mirror and looked at myself. For the first time in my life, I was showing. I was never really pregnant but apparently now I am. I got to bed and fell asleep.
The next morning I woke up because of my alarm and realized I was late and that I promised everyone to look at their projects today I quickly took a shower, got dressed and left. When I got to my office there were three attendings waiting for me outside.

Me: I'm sorry, give me a minute and I'll be ready

I got inside, changed into my scrubs (the biggest one so I wouldn't look pregnant) and opened the door

Me: Dr. Madison come in please

She came in and sat down, and showed me some papers

Me: Okay that's interesting can you tell me a little bit about this project

Madison: Well I want to try and find a way to regulate PACs, premature atrial contractions

Me: That's very good and how do you plan ln doing that?

Madison: Well I...

Someone opened the door

Me: Please wait outs...mom?

Mom: Here you are I've been looking for you

Me: Who let you in? I thought I told my assistant not to let anyone come in

Mom: She is a loser your sister just had to scream at her

Me: Laur...oh my I'm so sorry Dr. Madison look give me your folder I'll read it and make an appointment next week

Madison: Okay thank you Dr. Yang

She left and I locked the door

Me: Lauren is here!

Mom: Yeah and Patrick and your niece and Saul

Me: You could have warned me you were coming

Mom: Let them in, we wanted to see your new place, you could have warned us Zurich was so cold

Me: I didn't ask you to come

Mom: Oh you're so cranky

Lauren: Hi sis

Me: Lauren

Lauren: What? You're not happy to see me? Give me a hug

I went and hugged her, she was 7 months pregnant

Me: Are you sure it's safe for you to travel?

Lauren: Yeah whatever, I wanna see your apartment, where do you live?

Me: Across the street

Mom: Let's go then

Me: I gotta work

Mom: Ughh you doctors, we're not gonna stay here all day give us the address and the keys

Me: I...

Mom: Cristina...

Me: Okay fine

I gave her my keys and they left, I sat down on the chair
