Stewardess: We are landing in Zurich, Switzerland, it's currently 11p.m it's 12 degrees Celsius outside, have a good stay.

I took my bags, passed the security,I had no luggage, so I rushed to the hospital.

Me: Shane, where is he?

Shane: In your office

Me: Thanks

I opened the door, Burke was sitting on the chair, across my desk

Me: Dr.Burke

Preston: Cristina

Me: It's Dr.Yang

Preston: What do you need?

Preston: I need you to perform a surgery on me

Me: What kind?

Preston: A coronary artery bypass surgery

Me: What? That's why you made me rush back to Zurich? Any first year can do that!

Preston: No, because i have a rare disease that can cause me a heart arrest at any moment and only i can do that, so I need somebody who's another me, and you're the only one.

Me: Okay fine I'm admitting you

Preston: Thank you

Me: Do you have anybody to call

Preston: No thanks

Me: Your wife?

He left the room, and I took my phone to call Owen

I hung up, that Amelia, she had no right to insult me in front of my daughter I was mad. The door opened

Shane: Dr. Yang, Preston Burke is ready and the OR is prepped

Me: Then let's go do this

<In the OR>

Me: Suction please, so here you can see I'm getting ready to unblock an artery

I had called interns to come observe the surgery

Anesthesiologist: Dr. Yang, I think there is a problem

Me: What?

Ross: Is that normal?

There was a nerve wrapped around the left ventricle

Me: Do you think it could be what makes his heart arrest?

Shane: I think it is

Me: Well let's take it out

Melanie: Are you sure? It's very dangerous

Me: I like taking risks

Melanie: Well not on Preston Burke

Me: I'm the lead surgeon on this case, Dr. Evans, so shut up and let me do my job

Melanie: Okay

It was Melanie Evans the best intern in my surgical program, I liked her, she reminded me of myself. But sometimes she was just kind of..annoying

Me: There you see, no problem

Shane: Perfect job, Dr. Yang

Me: I know, thank you, Ross please close up

I came out of the OR, the surgery took me 4 hours. I took my phone out and called Meredith

Me: Mer'?

Meredith: Cristina, I was worried

Me: Yeah I was called by Burke, he needed me to perform a surgery on him

Meredith: Woaw, all of your exes have a problem today

Me: Yeah. So what happened with Amelia?

Meredith: I don't know she came to house, drunk

Me: What!

Meredith: I know right

Me: I'll check during 2 days for Burke's post-op and then I'm coming back

Meredith: Right on time for the wedding

Me: Yeah if there is a wedding to worry about

Meredith: True

Me: Okay Mer' I need to go, bye

Meredith: Bye

I went up to my office and called Shane

Me: Ross page Dr. Evans and tell her to come to my office

I heard a knock on my door

Me: Come in. Oh Dr. Evans!

Melanie: I'm sorry Dr. Yang for what happened in the OR earlier, I..

Me: It's fine

Melanie: Really?

Me: Yeah, I was like you before, I was the best at everything, I questioned my superiors, but I had an amazing teacher, his name is Preston Burke, yes he's the one who thought everything, so if you want me to teach you like he thought me you have to stop questioning what i do, okay?

Melanie: Okay

Me: Very good, now go check on Dr. Burk, please

Melanie: Sure, and again, Dr. Yang I'm sorry
