~BURKE~
I went to Dr. Hunt's office with him, he took papers out and wrote my name and two dates

Owen: Okay so here you're staying at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital from today, August 7th until September 10th, sign here and you're a doctor at Grey Sloan

I signed the paper and gave it to him, we shook hands

Owen: Welcome Dr. Burke

Me: Thank you

We left the room and Cristina came out of another room with an intern and another attending

Cristina: Dr. Pierce I don't get it, you were on this case since the beginning, we need two surgeons on this case

Dr. Pierce: Well you're the lead surgeon on the case you find a replacement for me

Owen: What's happening here?

Cristina: Dr. Pierce and I were suppose to work on Dr. Altman's patient together, I'm the replacement for Dr. Altman and now Dr. Pierce isn't performing the surgery anymore, and I need another Cardio surgeon with me

Me: I'm available

Owen: Yes Dr. Burke just signed a contract he can scrub in with you

Cristina: Yeah sure, join me in room 765 at 6 tonight

Me: Okay

Owen: See there's always a solution

Cristina: Okay Dr. Evans let's go

The intern followed her and they both left

Dr. Pierce: Dr. Hunt I know it's your wife but could you please talk to her, I'm the chief of Cardio and she keeps rescheduling my surgeries without asking me, I should do this

Owen: I'll talk to her, thank you for talking to me

Dr. Pierce: Don't start with that please

Owen: I meant thank you for talking to me about THIS and not directly to her

Dr. Pierce: Oh of course

She looked at him with a weird look and then left

Me: She is the head of cardio?

Owen: Yeah

Me: What's happening between you two?

Owen: I dated her best friend and then she left because I left her and now she doesn't speak to me, and I can't have my doctors not speaking to me

Me: Yeah, you know I was almost chief

Owen: Yes Derek Shepherd told me there was a little fight between Mark Sloan, Addison Montgomery, you and him for chief

Me: Oh yeah

We kept talking and laughing, he was talking about Cristina and his problems with her and I was telling him how we didn't speak for over a month and we just sat there and talk, we didn't see the time passing. We were laughing really hard when the door opened

"Here you are"

It was Cristina, she looked really mad, when we saw her like that we laughed more

Cristina: Okay what's happening here?

Owen: I'm so sorry honey, it's just we've been talking with Burke and you didn't change a bit since you were an intern
