I was walking around with Melanie Evans following me, when I was paged to the lobby. I went to the lobby and there standing was Preston Burke.

Me: Dr. Burke?

Preston: Dr. Yang, happy to see you again

Me: You too, thank you for coming

Melanie: Uh Dr. Burke?

Preston: Yes?

Melanie: Dr. Melanie Evans, I'm a big fan of yours

Preston: Nice to meet you Dr. Evans

He looked at me and started laughing, I smiled and started laughing too

Melanie: Why are you laughing?

Me: I'm so sorry Dr. Evans, will you page Dr. Hunt for me please?

Melanie: Sure

I wen to sit down and Burke followed me and sat across me

Me: Thank you for coming

Preston: You're happy and I don't wanna ruin your happiness, and if I can help, I'm happy to do it

Me: Thanks, um if Owen is kind of cold with you don't worry, he is just really nervous to meet you

Preston: I have this effect on people

Me: No, Burke really, he is really nervous

Preston: Okay, okay I'll be nice

Me: I think Melanie has a crush on you

Preston: Really?

Me: She's been following me around all morning since she heard you were coming in the hospital and usually she is the biggest suck up in the universe and today she didn't even speak because she didn't want me to assign her to somebody else.

Preston: I think this intern is kinda like you

Me: She is, at least like I was, I changed in 15 years

Preston: I'm sure you did

Melanie: Dr. Yang, Dr. Hunt is here

I got up and turned around, Owen was coming toward us, he was smiling, with a really big charming smile. I walked to him and kissed him

Owen: Hi honey, hello Dr. Burke

Preston: Dr. Hunt, nice to meet you

Owen: Nice to meet you

Me: Um okay, uh Evans you go to the pit with Grey

Melanie: Sure

Owen: Let's go to the conference room

Me: Yeah good idea

We all took the elevator to the conference room, it was really quiet in the elevator until April Kepner came in

April: Oh hello chief, Dr. Yang, and...

Preston: Dr. Burke

April: Oh yeah right I forgot you were coming today

Owen: Dr. Kepner can you cover the ER for me today please?

April: Of course

Owen: Thank you

We got to the conference room and sat down around the table. Owen was sitting next to me and Burke was sitting across us, we showed him the ultrasounds
