Me: You're going to see mom?

Megan: Yeah, she's gonna be happy right?

Me: She's gonna be the happiest woman on earth, take care, and come see me whenever you want

Megan: I will, and you better go talk to your wife now

Me: I will

She left and went to sit down at my desk, someone knocked on the door

Me: Come in, oh Derek

Derek: Okay Dr. Hunt, sit down

Me: I'm already sitting down

Derek; Then stay seated and listen to me

Me; I'm listening

Derek: You're gonna go outside and find Cristina and apologies to her, she just talked us all, 6 people, she talked us out of firing you. She answered to every questions we asked her and every time we said something bad she found a good excuse. She made a list of 132 reasons why not to fire you while you guys were in fight, she really, really cares about you and she's worried sick. So you are going to get you ass down there and talk to her and APOLOGIES even if you didn't do anything wrong

Me: Okay chill man, I will

Derek: Now

Me: Okay I'm going

I got up and went to look for Cristina, I saw her going in the elevator, so I ran and got on it too

Me: Cristina you're gonna listen to me

Cristina: What do you want?

Me: Cristina, I'm sorry honey.

Cristina: Don't honey me

Me: Cris, you're the love of my life and I'm sorry for yelling and leaving and I love you forever, I'm always gonna love you, no matter what. I'm sorry for running and swear I will never run again, ever. I'm not gonna leave your side again. I had a little breakdown and I'm
very sorry, but I promise I'm staying now

She pushed me against the elevator and started yelling at me

Cristina: You really think it's enough, telling me you love me and you're not gonna leave my side again, really?

She kissed me and then broke in tears. I hugged her

Me: I'm so sorry, baby I'm so sorry

Cristina: I missed you, a lot

Me: Me too. I missed you a lot

Cristina: Don't do this to me again

Me: I won't

Cristina: Wait so your sister came back from the dead

Me: She was never dead, in the accident she forgot everything and basically she lived in that little town in the desert and a little while ago she fell and hit her head. Since then she remembers everything and so she came and I was so happy to see her I almost fainted. she didn't wanna go see my mom and I told her she could stay here with me for a while until she was ready to go and she's ready she left not long ago

Cristina: wow I'm so sorry for doubting, very sorry

Me: no no I'm sorry don't-don't worry it's not your fault, I love you

Cristina: I love you too

~MEREDITH~

I was at the nurse station filling some charts when I saw Jo Wilson coming towards me.

Jo: Dr. Grey I need to talk to you

Me: what do you need?

Jo: ‏ I need you to listen to me and not repeat to Alex what I just told you

Me: what is it Wilson? What is the big secret?

Jo: i'm going to tell you something and you have to swear they are not going to repeat it because I trust you and I need you to help me

Me: Just tell me already!

Jo: I think I'm pregnant and I'm not sure if it's Alex's baby so I need you to help me draw some blood and to get me the date of the conception

Me: why don't you ask an OB? I'm a general surgeon!

Jo: please Meredith I consider you as a person I can talk to I know I'm not with Alex anymore and you probably hate me but please

Me: OK fine come with me

she came with me and we went to a lab so I could draw some blood

Me: how come you're not sure it's Alex's baby?

Jo: because last week we had a party and I invited Dr. Gilbert because he was really nice to me and we got drunk and I slept with him and now I don't know who is the father of my child.

Me: Alex is going to be really pissed Jo you guys are so good together I don't get why you broke up

Jo: I didn't break up with him he broke up with me and im not gonna force him to be with me if he doesn't want to be with me

Me: OK here is the blood we're going to go to the OB floor because I don't have the machine to find this thing out

Jo: I went to OB and they said that it was way too soon to learn the date of conception and the ultrasound, I don't know if Alex told you but we slept together at two weeks ago and it was a drunken mistake we shouldn't have done it

Me: he told me don't worry. Now take your blood and go I have other stuff to worry about

Jo: thank you very much

Me: you're welcome and don't call me Meredith again it's Dr. Grey not Meredith

Jo: OK thank you Dr. Grey

she walked out and I decided to go find Cristina because I wanted some explanation about the speech she gave us before in the morning. I found her talking to Owen, she was smiling and didn't seem pissed or anything

Me: Hey

Cristina: Hey Mer

Me: Hi Owen

Owen: Hi, I have to go bye I'll see you later

Cristina: Bye

Me: so are you guys okay?

Cristina: yes we are, yeah

Me: so what happened today in the conference room you were so emotionally involved it was so not like you

Cristina: Mer I was trying to save my marriage and the only way to do that was to get Owen to keep his job and I knew that if he lost his job he would blame me and it would be over

Me: so I guess it worked

Cristina: It didn't play any role he didn't know about the speech

Derek: yes he did I told him about it and I'm so glad that you guys are OK because I was threatening to kick his ass if you didn't come and talk to you

Cristina: well that worked out very well thank you Derek I have surgery I need to go bye-bye.

Me: Bye, I am proud of you that is so nice what you just did for Owen and Cristina

Derek: Thanks

He kissed me

Derek: Gotta go, see you

Me: Bye love you

Derek: Love you too
