Me: We found the cause of your heart arrests, it was a nerve wrapped around your left ventricle, I took it out, you should be fine

Preston: Thank you Dr. Yang

The door opened, it was Mama Burke

Mama: Hi Pres.. Oh Dr. Yang

Preston: Mama, come in, Dr. Yang operated on me

Me: Hello, Mrs. Burke

Mama: Hello Dr. Yang, very happy to see yo..

My cell phone started to ring

Me: Excuse me. Dr. Cristina Yang speaking

Woman: Hello, I'm Dr. Pearce from the Day Care center at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, I'm calling because I was asked by Dr. Meredith Grey to call this number so you could talk to your daughter, Grace Hunt

I looked at Burke and Mama Burke, they were staring at me so I turned around

Me: Yes it's me, can you put her on the phone, please?

Dr. Pearce: Yes sure

Grace: Hey mom

Me: Hi baby, how are you?

Grace: I'm really good, it's really fun here, Owen's is very nice to me

Me: He registered you as Grace Hunt?

Grace: No I did, I felt like it would make him happy

Me: And did it make him happy?

Grace: He was smiling

Me: Okay honey, I need to go now, you go to Meredith's tonight and I'll be back in TWO days, okay?

Grace: Okay, I love you mom

Me: I love you too, bye

I hung up, and turned around. Preston and his mother were looking at me in a really weird way

Me: It was my daughter

Mama: You have a daughter, you're married?

Me: Um..divorced

Preston: And where's this daughter?

Me: In Seattle with her father. Well everything looks fine so I'm gonna leave you two alone

Mama: Okay, thank you Dr. Yang

Preston: Wait Dr Yang

Me: Yes?

Preston: You're going back to Seattle?

Me: Yes, I'll be following your two first days of post-op and I will leave

Preston: Very well, thank you Dr. Yang

I walked out of the room, Shane was outside

Shane: You know his mother?

Me: I was engaged to the man, his mother shaved my eyebrows

Me: He left..but why are you asking me that?

I just finished a liver transplant, the day was over for me. I was walking to Day Care, when I ran into Owen

Owen: Oh hey Meredith

Me: Hey, I was going to Day Care to pick up the kids

Owen: I was gonna say goodbye to Grace

Me: Okay let's go

We entered the Day Care center

Mrs. Pearce: Dr. Grey, Dr. Hunt

Owen: I'm just coming to say goodbye to Grace, she is going to Dr. Grey's

Mrs. Pearce: Okay

Owen: Grace!

Grace: Yeah

Owen: Bye Honey, I'll see you tomorrow

Grace: Okay, I called my mom she said she'd be back in TWO days

Owen: Two days?

Grace: Mhm-mhm

Owen: Okay, bye

He had a huge smile, she gave him a kiss on the cheek

Me: Okay Bailey, Grace, Ellis let's go

I took Ellis in my arms and Bailey and Grace followed me. We went to the car and we headed to Zola's school. I was waiting in the car, all the 3rd graders were coming out

Zola: Hey mom

Me: Hey honey, how was school?

Zola: Boring. Hey Grace!

Grace: Hi

Me: Zola I have to go back to the hospital for an hour, you think you can take care of the kids?

Zola: Of course

Bailey: Mom can we invite Grace to my birthday
