~CRISTINA~

It was 1 a.m, i was exhausted but i had to go check on Burke, and then i had to catch a plane for Seattle

Me: Dr. Burke

Preston: Dr. Yang

Me: I'm gonna do a quick check up on you because I have to catch a plane

Preston: Do whatever you want

I checked his heart rate, it was good, I checked his pulse, everything was good, but when I was checking his heart he took my hand

Me: Burke..

Preston: Cristina, I love you

Me: Preston, I'm not the same woman you loved 15 years ago...

He didn't answer he looked at me in the eyes and kissed me, I pushed him away

Me: Burke what are you doing!

Preston: I love you Cristina, I don't know WHY the hell I left 15 years ago, but I know one think, I love you

Me: Dr. Burke I'm reassigning your case to another doctor, I'm sorry...

I left the room and rushed to the airport

Me: So Grace, what about this dress?

Grace: No I don't want a pink dress, I already told you

Me: Then what color?

Grace: I don't know, red? yellow? You choose it's your wedding

Me: Well I want you to wear pink

Grace: I'm not wearing pink

Me: Why?

Grace: Because I don't like pink, what color is your dress?

Me: It's white, like a wedding dress

Grace: My mom's wedding dress was red

Me: Well her wedding didn't work out

Grace: Why are you saying that?

Me: Cause your dad is marrying me

Grace: Sure

Me: Okay, do you want this white and red one?

Grace: This one's better

Me: Okay then let's take this one, I'm starving, do you wanna eat?

Grace: Do they have ice cream here?

Me: Yes, seat down, I'm gonna go get ice cream, what flavor do you want?

Grace: Chocolate please

Me: Okay

I went to get the ice cream and I was watching Grace at the same time, she wasn't a bad kid, she just knew what she wanted and she wanted her parents to be together that's why she didn't like me. I mean the kid wasn't raised well, obviously, especially with a mother like Yang, she needs limits, I'll raise her and teach her good manners after Owen and I are married. I got two ice creams, one for Grace, a chocolate one and for me, a vanilla one.

Me: Here you go, now let's go back to the hospital

Grace: Okay

We took my car and I drove to the hospital when we got there I realized Grace had fallen asleep, she did look cute, so I called Owen

Me: Owen can you come help me please?

Owen: Why what happened?

Me: Relax, Grace just fell asleep in the back of my car and i need help to carry all the bags and your daughter

Owen: Okay, I'm coming

He came out, he took Grace in his arms and I took the bags, he was holding her really tight. I couldn't stop thinking of him doing that with our kids. We saw Meredith in the hall

Owen: Hey Meredith, so Grace is sleeping so I don't know what are you gonna do?

Meredith: Well I'm going to pick up Bailey and Ellis right now so do you think you can wait for me here, while I go get them and then I come get her?

Owen: Sure

Me: Um Meredith..

Meredith: Yeah?

Me: Here's Grace's dress and just put her hair in a bun and put this thing in her hair please, I'll be at your house at 11 a.m tomorrow

Meredith: Alright

Owen: I'm waiting here

He sat on the chairs and I sat next to him, he was hugging Grace

Owen: Oh honey you're awake, I'm sorry I didn't mean to hurt you

Grace: It's okay

Owen: So how was it today?

Grace: Oh it was good, Amelia was really nice

Owen: I'm happy

He smiled at me, I smiled back, and Grace turned around and told me

Grace: Thank you for the ice cream, and for the dress

Me: You are welcome

Meredith: I'm back, Bailey go get the bag from Amelia's hands and Grace follow me

Grace: Bye dad, bye Amelia

Owen: Bye honey I'll see you tomorrow in your pretty dress

Grace: Okay

Meredith and the kids left and I looked at Owen, he was following them with his eyes

Me: She calls you dad?

Owen: She said bye to you?

Me: Yeah I think she's starting to like me

Owen: I told you so

Me: I know, well I'm gonna go home and sleep cause I need to rest for tomorrow, see you at the wedding, enjoy your last moments as a free man

Owen: I will

We kissed, I got up and I went home, tomorrow was going to be a really important day...
