Chapter 4: Flirtatious
Keane's POV
We didn't get back to the house until 3am, so therefore didn't arise from our bedroom until midday. Only to have Noah tell us that we had to go and work at the diner, so that left us with 30 minutes to fully wake up and sort ourselves out.
"I didn't hear you come in last night" Noah said, eating pineapple out of a tin sat on the kitchen table,
"We were being very quiet" I said cutting up an orange,
"What time did you get in? We got back at half past midnight"
"Around 3am" Tayte said, coming into the room,
"I bet you were doing naughty stuff at the cove"
"Oh I wish" Tayte winked, Noah laughed. I rolled my eyes,
"So what are you getting up whilst we're working for free at the diner?" I asked,
"Well. I'm going out with Dad, he's taking me shopping" He beamed,
"Oh I see, we have to work and you get to go shopping with Dad" he nodded grinning,
"Yep"
"I see something very wrong with this" he laughed,
"Where's Angelo?" Tayte asked,
"Sleeping. He had a call out at 5am this morning and he didn't get back until 9am, so I let him sleep"
"Well that's very kind of you" I said,
"What are you saying?" Noah asked, "I'm always kind, of course I'm going to let him sleep"
"Oh really, somehow if that was me sleeping, you'd run in and jump on me and wake me up," he smiled, "I don't hear you denying it," he then laughed,
"Okay so maybe I would wake you up, but that's different, you're my older brother and have learnt to put up with my crazy ways. I don't want to scare Angelo away"
"I think it's too late for that Noah, he's long past scaring off. I think he's in it for the long run"
"I hope so," he grinned,
"Babe we better go or we'll be late. I'm sure Rory and Piper won't mind, but we've always been professional" Tayte said,
"Have fun, love you" I told Noah,
"Love both of you cuties" he answered.
We left the house with 10 minutes to go, so decided to take the car and pulled up into the private parking behind the diner.
"It looks busy already" I said,
"Looks like we're in for a busy day" he replied, slapping my arse cheekily as we headed through the door,
