Chapter 23: The Call

It was early Friday afternoon, we were all sat chilling in the sitting room when my phone rang, I pulled it out of my pocket,

"I'll be back in a minute" I said, Tayte looked at me and I smiled as I left. Answering the phone without a thought of who it would be, or to look at who was calling.

Keane, its Tammara. I...oh my God, Keane...I

Whoa, Tammara what's wrong? What's happened? Talk to me

My Dad...he's...he's been killed Keane and...and...MI6 is, it's been targeted. Everyone's in danger. They're going to blow up headquarters.

I'm...I'm. Oh Tammara I'm so sorry. Where are you? I'll come to you, we can help.

I lost the ability to breathe as I sank down to the floor.

It was happening again. It was all happening again.

My hands were shaking my heart was slamming against my chest, I couldn't catch my breath,

"Keane, who was...?" Tayte trailed off as he saw me, "Oh my God, Babe what's wrong, breathe for me, nice and slow"

"I...Tammara..." I took a breath, "I can't breathe"

"Yes you can, slow and easy, in and out" he said crouching in front of me and placing his hands on my shoulders, "Breathe with me"

"You have got to see what's all over the news, MI6 has been blown up and London is in..." Noah trailed off when he saw me and Tayte, "What happened?" his worried face somewhat began to calm me,

"I'm okay. Sorry I scared you...I'm okay" I said, but Tayte wouldn't let go of me, "Tayte...babe, I am okay," I leant forward and kissed him softly.

"What's going on?" He said once we'd gone back into the sitting room.

BREAKING NEWS was flashing across the TV screen.

"Keane?" Noah said, he was holding Angelo's hand,

"Parker's dead and Tammara told me that this was going to happen, she said that they would be coming for us next, I take it she managed to escape but...but...shit."

"Go and pack your bags and be ready to leave as soon as possible," Mum said,

"But..."I began,

"Now" She shouted, "This isn't up for arguing," I noticed Dad head out the front door, before I went upstairs,

"It's happening" I said, "It was only a matter of time,"

"Let's not jump to any conclusions" Tayte told me,
