Song of the week (I am obsessed, it is my new mantra): Sia - Angel By The Wings (from the movie Eagle Hunt)

"Take an Angel by the wings, beg her now for anything, be her now for one more day, take an Angel by the wings, time to tell her everything, ask her for the strength to stay. You can, you can, do anything, anything. You can, you can, do anything, anything. You can, do anything"

Chapter 30: Lap of Luxury

Keane's POV

We landed in Siem Reap Airport at 6am,

"Why is it so early?" I complained,

"This is torture," Noah groaned,

"Oh stop complaining. You can all sleep when we get to the hotel," Mum said,

"Is it far?" Tayte asked,

"15 minutes" Dad replied,

"Too far" Noah complained, Dad chuckled. A black Lexus RX 400 came and picked us up from the airport, "What is this hotel like?"

"A 5 star classy hotel and spa called Raffles Grand Hotel D'Angkor"

"Ooh, sounds lovely," Noah replied,

"We thought we'd live the lap of luxury whilst we're here," Mum answered.

True to their word we arrived at the hotel and it did look very spectacular,

"Whoa," Noah gasped. We all got out and porters took our bags,

"We've booked a two bedroom villa for the week and later on we have a surprise visitor"

"Angelo?" Noah said,

"No Noah, unfortunately not. You'll just have to wait and see" Dad replied.

...

"This place is AWESOME," Noah shouted, running around the rooms. I have to say, it was impressive. High ceilings created the illusion of space. Rooms were full of décor of Angkorian originals, antique style furniture and Persian style carpets. The master bedroom was equipped with a wooden 4 poster bed and a giant walk in wardrobe and impressive ensuite with a waterfall shower, whirlpool Jacuzzi bath and other features. The finishes everywhere were second to none. The main living area was modern, but stylized with its own unique touches, it boasted an oak wooden table, which was already laid and set, two of the comfiest sofas known to man and a large, ultra-thin apple TV and apple laptop. There were patio doors that led out to the pool and space to barbecue and entertain. It was absolutely stunning, just full of modern amenities and cultural finishes. Our room had a king and two very un-single looking single beds, an ensuite similar to the master and the furnishes again were spectacular. I flopped down on the bed, Tayte jumped on top of me,

"This is it, I'm going to stay here for the rest of the day" I said, laughing as I shoved Tayte off me,

"No, let's go explore the hotel and chill in the pool!" Noah said,

"We'll do that, after we sleep," Tayte answered,

"We're heading off to meet with someone. A chef will be here at 9.30am to cook you all breakfast, then you can all explore the hotel. Just stay within the grounds," Mum said,
