Chapter 10: Felling The Forrest
"Yes we're having a good time, thank you. How's home, bet it's rubbish compared to America. Yes I've spoken to Noah, Yes we are having dinner with Jen and Forrest. Yes we got the suits you sent. Mum...thank you. Hmm, Yes. Okay. See you on Friday. Love to Dad, Yes I'll tell him. Love you....bye...bye..."
"Hard work" Tayte said,
"So much," I laughed. "They both send their love"
It was midday and we'd only got up around half an hour ago, I'd rang Noah as soon as I had gotten up or he'd be annoyed that I didn't ring when I said I would. Neither of us were too bothered about going anywhere. It wasn't the best day outside either.
"Do you really think that we're going to be okay?" I asked sitting up on the bed, "Because sometimes I feel like giving up. Some days I wonder what the hell I'm doing"
"If you give up on me Keane, then I'm going to give up on me too" Tayte told me, he was looking into my soul, even though I felt empty at that moment in time, he slowly began to fill me up again. I smiled,
"I promise to try not to give up, because I couldn't have you giving up too" I said, he kissed me. I went into the bathroom, leaving Tayte sat on the bed on the Mac,
"Have you seen what Arii's been getting up to in Barcelona?" He called, I came out with the toothbrush in my mouth,
"Who's Arii again? Just remind me"
"Don't be like that babe"
"Why not? She doesn't care enough to send a text, or call us. A spare 5 minutes in her day. I...we, were so close and together and then she...I'm not even going to get into it right now"
"Honestly, don't let it get you down Keane. Arii will come around when she's ready okay and because of who you are, everything will be fine. Right now, just let her get on with it, because one day she will realise how much we all mean to her"
"Yeah...whatever"
"Don't take that tone with me" He said smiling, I pulled a face, joining him a minute later on the bed as we scrolled through her pictures.
Selfies galore at the Sagrada Familia, lots of cool pictures of buildings and ice lollies at Park Guell. They had pictures at Barcelona's ground; Camp Nou, lots of selfies in the sea and on the beach with various people. They must have borrowed a selfie stick as they were at the front of the rollercoaster and had everyone in behind them screaming with their hands up. They posed outside Picasso's Museum and there must be over 100 selfies with animals at Barcelona Zoo. Then there was a few on a yacht, which they must have been partying on,
"Looks like fun" I said, Tayte picked up my sarcastic tone,
"Be nice" I stuck my tongue out,
"Where are they heading next? Do you know?" I asked,
