I was sitting on the couch next to Scorpius with my legs propped up on his lap. We had both agreed to walk with each other to the Astronomy tower at 10:45.

"You seriously don't have any idea what they might be planning?" Scorpius asked aging for the 5th time that night.

"I only have an idea, but it's probably not right anyway," I said without moving my eyes from the book I was reading.

"And you won't tell me this idea because?" Scorpius asked smirking as he snatched my book from my hands and hid it behind his back.

"Give it back, Scor!" I said moving to try and grab my book, my face only inches away from his.

He chuckled, his cool breath fanning across my face, sending my stomach into a frenzy of unknown emotions that I had never felt before.

"Only if you tell me what you think is going on." He said smirking at me as he inched closer.

"Fine," I said leaning back, confused as to what I had just felt, "I think It's an initiation of sorts." I replied holding my hand out for my book.

Scorpius flipped through the pages of my book and smirked, "I think I might keep this, that way you'll talk to me," he said closing it again but not giving it back.

"Not fair, Scorpius Malfoy!" I said crossing my arms and putting up my best pouting face.

"Don't you pull that puppy dog face on me, Lily Potter." He said, "It. Won't. Work." He said punctuating each word with a poke on the nose.

I sighed and let my façade drop, "Fine, keep it," I said leaning back again propping my feet up on his lap again.

"An initiation huh?" Scorpius asked looking at me confused

"Yeah, but I honestly could be totally wrong."

"You think you're wrong, yet you've lived with James for fourteen years?"

I laughed at that "Don't get smart, Scor," I said "Besides, it's almost fifteen."

"You're completely right, and I intend on making this birthday the best one yet."

"Awe, Scor," I said blushing "what did I do to deserve you?" I asked smiling.

"Believe me, I ask myself the same thing every day." Scorpius said as he looked down at the floor.

The blush already present on my cheeks got brighter and hotter as the odd feeling I had felt earlier resurfaced.

We sat there for a while until I glanced at the clock on the wall and realized that it was time to go. Scorpius had fallen asleep nest to me and I nudged him awake with my foot "Scor," I said poking his leg "Scorpius."

"Hmm?" Scorpius woke up with a jolt and looked around "What time is it Lil's?" he asked.

"Time to go," I said removing my feet from his lap and he stood up.

He offered me his hand and I took it as he pulled me up and we walked to the Astronomy tower.

When we got there, we were greeted by James and Fred.

"Alright, let's get down to business," James said taking out his wand from his pocket and Fred followed suit.

"To become an official member," Fred began, "You need to be sworn to secrecy."

"Because if you tell, mum will kick my arse." James added.

"Okay" Scorpius and I said at the same time.

"Do you swear that as a Marauder, you will never breath a word about this group to anyone other than those who are in it?" Fred said

"We do," Scorpius and I said.

"And do you swear that you will remain loyal to those in this group forever?" Fred Continued.

"We do," we replied again.

"Alright, now take out your wands and on the count of three point them to the map and say 'I solemnly swear that I'm up to no good'''

Scorpius and I both pulled out our wands, His was 13 and a quarter inches with a Unicorn hair as the core. Mine was only 11 inches with a dragon heart string core. We put the tips of our wands to the map and waited for Fred to count to three.

"One, two, three," Fred said

"I solemnly swear that I'm up to no good," The four of us said as the parchment started to become the Marauders Map.

"First mission," James said, "Enchant the Troll tapestry to spit out insults at those who walk by."

I chuckled "The troll ballet tapestry?" I asked amused by the mental image.

*********

As we walked to the Tapestry on the 7th floor, Scorpius and I walked a bit behind James and Fred. The castle was dark and I was having trouble seeing where I was going so I grabbed Scorpius's wrist and made him guide me.

The closer we got to the tapestry, the more I could feel a migraine starting. Scorpius had noticed that something was wrong and stopped walking to ask me what was wrong.

"Nothing, just a small headache," I said smiling and blowing it off.

Scorpius looked at me for a moment and then sighed "If, you say so"

I put my hand up to my head and started rubbing it trying to relieve the pain which kept getting more and more intense as we got closer.

"Lily, seriously, are you ok?" he asked turning to look at me completely.

"I'm," I started, but the pain grew more intense.

Scorpius put his hand to my forehead "you don't have a fever." He said frowning, wondering what the pain might be.

I took a deep breath to pull myself together and started walking again "really, it's fine."

As we turned the corner and we became face to face with the tapestry, the pain became unbearable. A burning sensation flared up throughout my whole body and my vision started to blur. I felt my knees buckle from underneath me and I collapsed to the ground.

James and Fred had already gotten to the tapestry but Scorpius knelt beside me and cupped my face in his hands.

"Lily?" he asked sounding scared, "Lily what's wrong?"

"My head," I said "It just hurts."

Scorpius frowned "You wouldn't collapse from a headache Lily."

I shook my head "no, it's fine, really." I said trying to stand up but was picked up by a pair of strong arms before I could even get up.

"I'm taking you back to the dorm." Scorpius said as he carried me away from the tapestry.

Before I could argue back, an overwhelming sense of comfort fell over me. I felt safe and no longer queasy, I could see clearly and sank into Scorpius's arms. I could feel my eyelids becoming heavier as we walked causing me to barley keep them open.

I guess Scorpius saw how tired I was because he laughed lightly, the vibrations of his chuckle rumbled against my side. "Go to sleep, Lily," he said and I obeyed.
