The first thing I noticed when I awoke was that the surface beneath me was hard and uncomfortable.

I opened my eyes to find myself still curled in a ball on the hardwood floor of my room.

Sitting up I wiped my face before looking at my alarm clock that said 8:00 am.

Perfect. I was going to be late for my 9:00 class.

I hurriedly rushed to the bathroom to shower and brush my teeth before going back to my room, trying to avoid Harry at all costs.

I hadn't washed my hair in the shower and instead used some dry shampoo before styling it in a messy bun, attempting to make it look effortless while in reality it took me about ten minutes.

I then quickly applied minimal makeup before pulling on some black leggings and a cute oversized tee shirt from the White House Easter Egg Roll the year prior.

I then put on my sneakers and packed up my backpack before going out to the kitchen where unfortunately Harry was sitting at the counter.

I ignored him and instead made myself some coffee and cereal, eating at the table alone before washing my dishes and then sitting on the sofa to wait for him.

He came out of his room with his bag and I wasted no time in opening the door and leaving.

I put on my sunglasses and then power walked out of the hall and down the stairs, Harry matching my pace with his long legs.

I wanted to turn around and hit him, or kick him where it hurts, or maybe even just scream at him. Yes, I would settle for screaming, because I hated him.

I hated Harry Styles.

The asshole agent assigned to protecting me was really turning out to be the one making me miserable.

As we walked to the building my class was in I noticed the Starbucks ahead and said nothing as I turned and walked in, Harry stopping before coming in behind me.

He said nothing as well but I could see him seething as I waited in the line with him beside me so I could order my drink.

Once I had it we continued on our way to class, arriving on time and taking the seats we had last time.

The professor wasn't there yet and as I took out my books the girl named Ashley turned to Harry again.

"Hey, nine a.m.'s suck right?"

Harry glanced at her before looking away.

"What is your problem?" She then glared at him.

"Not interested." He replied before looking my direction but I was already digging through my backpack to find a pen, avoiding eye contact.

As Professor Monohan walked in I took a sip of my drink and watched as he scanned the room, obviously looking for someone, and then his eyes landed on me.

He smiled before walking up the rows and then down the one in front of me, arriving at my seat.

"Emma, how very nice to meet you."

"It's nice to meet you as well." I gave him a smile as I shook his hand.

"I was just informed of your presence in my class. I was told you had a bodyguard with you as well, is this him?" He looked at Harry.

"Yes, Sir." Harry shook his hand.

"Nice to make your acquaintance. Well, Emma, I hope to hear from you a lot during this class, I read you're an English major."
