Mariah P.O.V

~The next day~

Mari said he didn't want to do anything much for his birthday so we just chilled on the beach the whole day. Right now I'm on my way to Dia's house to tell her the news, I told Mari I could handle it alone. A few minutes later of the silent drive I finally pulled up at her crib.

Me: "Yo D I know yo ass up in here!" I yelled through her house.

Sa'Dia: "Girl I'm up here!" She yelled right back referring to upstairs.

Me: "Girl you got too many damn stairs!" My pregnant ass said as if I was even showing.

Sa'Dia: "Your lil skinny ass don't need no exercise anyway!"

Me: "Speaking of being skinny, I won't be so skinny soon." I said getting serious.

Sa'Dia: "You trying to gain weight? I can tell you gained a few pounds in that booty of yours."

Me: "Oh this?" I said twerking.

Sa'Dia: "Sit yo ass down, I know Mari gave you all that! Y'all nasty asses." She said laughing.

Me: "Yea he don't need to be giving me nothing."

Sa'Dia: "Why?"

Me: "If I tell you, don't judge."

Sa'Dia: "I promise damn now say it!"

Me: "I'm pregnant."

Sa'Dia: "Oh my god! How many weeks? Does he know? Does your mom know? What about your sisters?"

Me: "I know. 2 weeks going on 3 tomorrow. Yes, no, and no." I said answering every question.

Sa'Dia: "Well it's good he knows. Are you gonna tell your fam?"

Me: "Yea but after my birthday, they won't be able to say anything cause I'll be 18 and I already live alone."

Sa'Dia: "True. So what are y'all gonna do? Keep it? Adoption?"

Me: "Keep it."

Sa'Dia: "Mariah-"

Me: "Don't try to change my mind I know your just gonna say the same thing everybody else been saying."

Sa'Dia: "Congratulations?" She said making a face.

Me: "Oh."

Sa'Dia: "I say why not. I mean your about to be 18 and legal, your graduating high school, and you already live on your own."

Me: "Thanks. I still wanna go to college but I'll just have to wait until the baby is a little bit older."

Sa'Dia: "Yea, I mean it's people 40 years old still in college." She said laughing.

Me: "True." I said laughing too.

Sa'Dia: "Can I touch your stomach?"

Me: "Uh...sure. Its still flat though."

Sa'Dia: "It's still flat but it's really hard." She said gently poking me.

Me: "I guess, but I gotta go. I have a dentist appointment, bye."

Sa'Dia: "Bye." She slightly yelled as I closed the door.

~4 Hours Later~

I came home from my dentist appointment and I was just laying down in my bed finally. I've been at Mari's house ever since we found out I was pregnant, he never let's me out of sight. He's coming to check on me later. I was relaxing just watching tv when my phone was vibrating.
