Liliana's pov

"This is really amazing, Lily. How do you feel" Owen asks me. I already told him that I was pregnant the day after I found out, but we hadn't really gotten a chance to speak about it since I've been off for a couple of days and I was extremely busy when I came back. It's been a week since Jackson and I found out that I'm pregnant and we want to wait until I'm at least 12 weeks to start telling people, but I already told Owen since he knew it was a possibility that I was pregnant and I know that I can trust that he won't tell anyone.

"I'm still figuring that out, but for the most part nervous" I sigh. I was of course nervous about being pregnant because of both of my previous experiences with pregnancy, but also because of the idea of raising a baby. It's a big responsibility that I don't even know if I'm ready for. I'm going to be responsible for another persons life.

"Don't be scared. You're going to have a healthy pregnancy Lily. You have to believe that" he assures me

"I hope so" I nod

"How does Jackson feel? Is he excited" he asks

"Very. He can't stop smiling. He's already being so amazing. He's been so sweet and attentive" I smile. Even though I still had my fears when it came to this pregnancy, having Jackson by my side is helping me so much. He's honestly the most amazing husband and I don't know what I would do without him by my side.

"I'm really happy for you two. If any couple deserves this, it's you and Jackson" he smiles

"Thank you. That means a lot" I nod before my phone dings

"This is actually him now. I have to meet him him up at O.B. for my appointment" I say

"Okay" he nods before I leave to go to my appointment

"So far everything looks great. Your baby is doing amazing" Arizona smiles as she finishes my ultrasound. After everything that happened with my past pregnancies Jackson and I wanted to be safe and have Arizona as my doctor since she specializes in high risk pregnancies and also because of how amazing of a doctor she is.

"Are you sure" I ask

"Yes, the baby is developing at the normal rate and he or she has a very strong heartbeat" she says. I was at 8 weeks now so we were able to hear the babies heartbeat which was so amazing. There aren't words to describe hearing your child's heartbeat for the first time.

"When will we be able to test for osteogenesis imperfecta" I ask

"We'll be able to do an examination for that once you hit 16 weeks, but I don't want you two worrying in the mean time. Your baby is looking perfectly healthy" she assures us

"Okay" I nod

"Okay, so Lily I want you to tell me more about how you've been feeling."

"I've been fine" I say

"But she's still getting a lot of morning sickness" Jackson interjects

"Which I told him is perfectly normal" I sigh

"Yes thats is normal, because of the increase in hormones you experience in pregnancy, but it's important to make sure you're getting the proper amount of rest and that you're not overworking yourself or dealing with a lot of stress because that can make those symptoms worse" she says

"I am the Chief of Neuro. Stress and barely getting sleep comes with the job."

"Believe me I understand how busy running your own department can be, but you're pregnant now. There's nothing wrong with slowing down a bit" she says
