Deimos' POV

"You've got to be kidding me", I narrowed my eyes at Europa, who stood behind the ring of armed werewolves, all of them ready to blow my head off at a moments notice. "You know that this has happened before, right? People have been trying to kill me for centuries. Yet here I am. I am practically invincible to you all. A couple of guns-"

'These are the Arc angel five four five advanced penetration rifles, little to no recoil, high accuracy, faster bullet speeds and the ability to fire a five inch, three pound silver round specially designed to lodge itself into you and expose your body to as much silver as possible. We don't intend to kill you on the spot. If we manage to immobilize you, we could figure out how to kill you back at Spring Haven.'

I gazed at the rifles, then at Europa. She wasn't lying about the rifles. They had the ability to do more damage than conventional weapons. If I were lucky, I would've been able to take out a dozen of them before I fell.

I smirked.

"Your threats are nothing to me, Commander. Do you know what they used to call me the most?" I called out to Europa, who's eyes narrowed immediately.

'The King of Blood lust I believe. If you think that a simple name will faze me and my soldiers, you've got another thing coming. We've been trained to handle almost any situation. If you want this to be bloody, then we can do that. The only question is, is that what you really want?'

I looked at the werewolves that surrounded me. White wolves were the fastest of their kind, even able to keep up with the likes of us, to a degree. It would be a bloody fight indeed. I might even lose a limb or two.

But my limbs can regenerate at will, but Elliot's life won't.

'All you have to do is submit to the will of King Zelus. Is it really hard to do? Why must you force the King to do such things? Is the past really so bitter to you?'

Her words actually managed to make me remember some things I've always wanted to forget.

"You have no idea."

Europa sighed, then stepped forward.

'Archers ready.'

The werewolves with rifles corrected their aim at me, then placed their fingers on the triggers.

'Enforcers ready.'

The Werewolves in wolf form snarled, and steam erupted from their forms.Their armor rattled against their body as their forms shivered in anticipation of impending battle. The battle that never came.
