Chapter 19- Taking Back The Throne

After I sent Joshual away, I motioned for one of my guards to remove all of my special equipment and put it away. I then yelled "OKAY EVERYBODY YOU CAN GET BACK TO TRAINING NOW, ALL THE ALPHA'S, LUNA'S AND BETA'S CAN DO WHAT THEY WANT FOR THE REST OF THE DAY. PLEASE ENJOY THE REST OF YOUR DAY IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO COME AND SEE ME, THE BETA OR MY THRID." I turned on my heel and started walked back to the castle, I heard two pairs of feet following and I knew that it was Madi and Octavia. When we got back to the entrance, the guards bowed their heads at me when they opened the doors. I walked towards the staircase and said "Madi and Octavia can you please follow me into my office" they both replied "Yes Alpha" and followed me up the staircase and into my brand new office that nobody had been in since I left. I walked towards my desk pulled out my brand new swivel chair and sat down. Madi and Octavia walked in closed the door and stood in front of my desk next to each other with their hands behind their back. I giggled a little when Octavia looked at Madi and then back at me and then said "Sis what's so funny?" "You two, you do know that I don't bite you can't have a seat. I only asked you guy's to come in here because I need your help planning me take over the throne since we didn't have a proper one last time because I had to leave straight away. I will need an elder to do the ceremony this time because my 'dad' cannot do it because I am technically in charge and he isn't king anymore so I need an elder to do it" they both took a seat. I then said, "Can you two find an elder and set up the ceremony by tomorrow please and thank you." They nodded their head and said, "Yes Alpha" "thank you, you are dismissed because I have lots of paperwork to catch up on" they all nod their heads and exit my office. After four straight hours of paper work, I got a knock at the door. I then said "Come in" I heard the door knob turn and the hinges move with the door opening, when I look up to see you was at the door I gasped a little "Mason, what are you doing here?" "I...I need to see you again" he is making it so hard to keep him out of my life. I shook my head and said "Mason you already did see me today" "no I meant alone, I wanted to see and talk to you alone" Oh My God why is he doing this, I will only break his heart again. "So what did you want to talk about?" "The real reason as to why you rejected me and left" "Mason I have already told you, I rejected you because I was scared that you would hurt me cheat on me and other stuff that I don't want to get into right now, and as for the reason for why I left. I left because I wanted to become a better alpha and a better leader; I did it for myself and my people" "but why do I feel like that isn't the truth" I hate lying to him but I have to. So when he caught me out I said, "I don't know Mason but it is the truth so you need to leave now because I am catching up on very important work at the moment and you are only distracting me" he just stared at me. Then said "well I also thought that since you are back, I don't maybe we could give it another go" "No mason we cannot give it another go" "why not" "because I said that I don't want to Mason just stop. Please you are only going to keep hurting the both of us. So stop and leave my office...NOW!" OCTAVIA, MADISON COME HERE" I yelled, if he will not leave I will make him. Octavia and Madison come running into my office and said, "Yes Alpha what is wrong" "Madison I need you to take Alpha King Mason out of my office right please and thank you and Octavia I NEED to TALK to YOU" Madi nods her head. She then says to Mason "Big Bro we need to leave now please" "No Mads because I am the Alpha King" "yes Mason you do, I know that you are the Alpha King but I have to obey MY ALPHA'S orders so please come with me willing or I will have to drag your ass out of THE ALPHA'S office" he growls at Madi. He then says "Madi I am the alpha" "No Mason you are the ALPHA KING not THE ALPHA I will not be asking again. Please some with me" "Fine" he rolls his eyes at me and walks out with Madi following closely behind. Once Octavia closes my door she says "Abbie what was that and why where you fighting with Mason?" "O, he came in here asking questions about me and him. He wanted the answers that I can't give him, and it's killing me that I can't just tell him" "well why can't you tell him?" "Because he wouldn't ever be able to understand why I had to do it. He would think of it as me wanting to get rid of him so that I could just have power but it isn't anything like that at all. All I wanted to do was protect him and I will continue doing that but he is make it so much hard than it has to be and if dad finds out he is do something that I would be able to stop" "and why the fuck could you not stop what he would do. Why do they all hate him, what has he done to them while I was away for only four fucking years. "Octavia, why do they hate him?" "Because dad said if we said anything he would kill us, Abbie I have never been so scared in my life. Landon and I decided that he and I would share a room until you got home. He protected me, I do not think I would be here right now if he did not Abbie please don't let him hurt us again. Please" she started crying so I leapt up from my chair, ran to her, and comforted her. After 5 minutes of me hugging her she sniffled and said "Abbie I need to tell you something" "what is Hun?" "Landon and I we are ... Mates" I can't even. I am so happy for them "Oh My God are you serious" "yes I am so sorry that we have disappointed you we agreed that if you didn't want us to be together that we would reject each and pretend that we were never mates" I don't understand why they would think that I would be happy for them. "no O that is so amazing that you found your mate and it is even better that it is Landon" "what your happy for us even if we are brother and sister" "well technically you're not really brother and sister because dad said that they never let him adopt you so he just pretended that he did for my sake" Dimitri just jeeps giving me more reasons to hate and want to kill him. However, now I am glad that she was never actually adopted to the family but he still lied and I hate liars. I know I am being a hypocrite because I am lying to Mason but I had a good reason to and it doesn't mean that I don't hate myself for lying either. "Are you serious" I nodded my head at her. I then said, "yes O I am dead serious and to prove it to you I am going to announce it at my ceremony that you guys are mates and that by law you guys aren't family" "you would do that for us" "of course I would, we are sisters" "no were not" "I don't care what the laws says you will always be my sister" "I love you Abbie" "I love you too O" I hugged her again and then mind-linked Landon to come to my office. About Half an hour later there was a knock at my office door. I looked up at my office door than back at Octavia and I could tell that she could sense Landon was at the door, I then looked back at the door and said "Come in" Landon opened the door and walked. He sat down on the chair and looked at me and said "what's up sis" I looked at Octavia and said through mind-link 'we should prank him' 'what how' 'just follow my lead okay' 'umm okay' 'Octavia do you trust me' 'yes with my life' then just follow m okay' 'okay'
