I couldn't help but to let my mind wander to the worst of things. The way Nyla left, confused me. Everything was going so good. Whatever was behind this Lucas thing, must have really fucked with her head. I didn't want her out alone, especially at this time of night, but I wouldn't have a clue where the hell she went.
I got the keys to my car, and without hesitation, I left to go find her.

11:56pm After walking out on Chris, I took a stroll just to clear my mind of everything. I didn't know where exactly I was going, all I knew was I was going to walk until I felt okay.
I was in a neighborhood I didn't know. I felt lost, but anything was better than feeling trapped. My mind was trapped into thoughts of what happened between Lucas and I. I had to get my mind right, before I let those thoughts ruin what I was building with Chris.
Chris made me feel like I was special. Something I'd never felt with Lucas.
I avoided the strange stares I was receiving from the men that I walked by. It was creeping me out, and right now, all I wanted was Chris. I wanted an escape. I wanted to feel safe.
