"Well, I'll give you a choice. You let me take Lana in as merchandise, and you're free to go Mr. Iero. Give me problems and I'll take the both of you back home to die a very painful, and very slow death. This is something my family specializes in, do take my word for It. So what will it be?" Lucas' dad gave a venomous smirk.

Frank and I stood there completely frozen, our hands grasping each other almost too tightly.

The room stood still till a quiet pair of feet came running to us from behind. My head snapped back in fear, processing the situation very slowly. Gerard was making his way toward us, a big smile on his face,

"RUN!" I screamed to him before Lucas' father had a chance to see his face.

He ignored my warning and continued over with confusion washing over his expression.

"What's wr-" His jaw dropped as his eyes met with Lucas' dad.

"Well, this is unexpected. Dear Mr. Way had I known you were involved with this sooner you'd already be dead. My son talks a great deal about putting a bounty on your head." He chuckled dryly.

"Oh shit." Gerard hissed.

"Damn how did he know we were here?" He turned to me and Frank, a strangely calm expression on his face.

"This is fucking serious!" Frank barked, smacking him upside the head.

Sometimes I wished I could be Gerard, so calm about everything. It was probably all the drugs.

"OW. HEY, was that really necessary?" Gerard grumbled, rubbing the back of his head.

"Well, to answer your question, the woman who works here is a family associate, whenever someone takes interest into our files she lets us know. She also informed me she gave a strange man a key in exchange for personal favors." Lucas' dad folded his hands together in a civil manner.

"Hey I'm not strange fuck you." Gerard glared at him. This time it was my turn to smack the back of his head.

"CAN EVERYONE STOP HITTING ME?" He yelled in response.

"SHHH!" I hissed.

"Do continue your antics, I'm so amused at the amount of positivity the lot of you have when you are minutes away from death." Lucas' dad laughed.

"Yeah, you and what army?" Gerard scoffed. I almost fell over. I was about to die thanks to Gerard and his stupid fucking sarcasm.

"No army. Me." He pulled a rifle out from behind the chair, handling it with care and wiping the nozzle off before pointing it at us aggressively, a deep set smile on his face.

"And the sniper standing outside of this building." He added with a chuckle.

"Ohhhh... Yeah. We're fucked." Gerard blew a deep breath of air out.

"So I give you a choice. You live but I take Miss Lana back home with me, no questions asked. You choose death and I kill you all. What will it be?"

We all remained frozen, but I knew what the right thing to do was, it was sitting in the back of my brain guilt tripping me and poking me with a stick. I swallowed the fear growing inside me and took a step forward.

"I'll go with you, no questions asked."

"NO." Frank reached forward and grabbed my arm, yanking me backwards. His words were almost like an order, like he was saying "Shut the fuck up and don't try to play hero right now." Restricting me like I were a child rather than his girlfriend.
