Eyes

Bucky's POV

Her eyes.
Her eyes don't hold the sparkle of happiness they used too when we first had got her.

They held sadness, depression.

"He little."
I say calmly hoping to get a good reaction.

She cleared her voice and with a very ruff voice she said.
"Hi buck."

It sounded strained.
"How are you feeling."
"Ok"
"You want to go out and see the others."
"Not really."
"How about food?"
"No thank you"

She answered with short answers.
Not her normal full sentences.

"Hey buck."
Said a voice from the door way.
I looked at the door to see tony standing there.

He motioned for me to come so I gave bliss a small squeeze on the hand as she did the same.

I closed the door quietly on the way out.

"Yea."
I asked wanting to know why he needed me of all people.
"We have a problem and I didn't tell anyone about yet."
He said rushing his words with sorrow and slight fear.
"Tony. What's wrong."
I say impatiently.
"You have to promise not to go all winter on me ok.?"
I nodded just wanting to know what the hell is wrong.

"I got a phone call to the tower the other day....... ok let me cut the crap..... the call was from bliss' aunt on her moms side and her aunts lawyer, her aunt wants custody of her saying that since we are dangerous to be around. I decided to do some research on the lady and turns out, she is just like bliss's mom. I found a video marked 'aunt came to babysit'
I watched it and started crying like a baby I had to stop. So now we have to fight for custody over bliss but the worst part is, I can't bring the video as evidence. It has to be said by bliss and judging by that video and the the state she is in right now, I doubt we will win that battle. Anything her aunt said, she did. Bliss can't even walk to the stand on her own. Buck...... we may loose her to another abuser."

He said the whole thing looking me in the eye.

Before I could say anything I was interrupted.

"What?!"
I turned around to come face to face with the one and only.
