"Miss Yusuf, are you done with what I asked you to do?" He said.

I looked up to see him looking down at me.

I've been trying to avoid him since morning but it seems like he understood that and he kept pestering me.

He asked me to type down an email to a man named Hassan. I was just finishing up when he came in.

"Yeah, one second" I said, forcing my head down.

Yes I was embarrassed.

Why?

Well because despite me being high spirited most of the time I wasn't usually that hyper, especially not to strangers.

It wasn't even that that had me bothered, it was the fact that I kept shamelessly looking at him in the car.

I need a gun.

He stood there until I finished and I pressed send, my hands retracted from the keyboard.

"Let's go" he said.

That caught my attention.

My head shot up "Where?"

"I have a meeting in 45 minutes, you're escorting me" he firmly said before he turned and walked back into his office.

Why do I have to escort him????

I turned to look at his retreating figure as I turned off the desktop, I stood up,  using my hands to smooth down the wrinkle lines formed on my dress.

He came out at that same time before walking out of the main doors without another word.

I took that as my cue to follow him.

I didn't bother taking my bag so I waved at Khadija and I followed him out of the door.

He walked around the building with so much authority people had to stop and nod at him.

I rolled my eyes.

We took the elevator to the underground parking lot.

Immediately the doors open we could see the car waiting for us, the driver was already in the driver's seat.

I thought he'll be the one driving us there.

He entered the back seat and I stood there contemplating whether I should enter the back seat or the passenger's seat.

He gave me a glance through the window and I quickly hurried to the passenger's seat.

Immediately I entered into the car it started moving.

Damn this driver doesn't play, he didn't even let me adjust on my seat.

I turned to look at the man in question, why is he so stiff?? Does he have diarrhea or is he nervous?

I looked away from the driver, my stare seems to be making him more tense, more uncomfortable.

10 minutes in the car and the silence was killing me, 7 minutes into the ride I realized I left my phone in my bag, and we were already too far away so simply kept quiet and I pushed down the urge to wack myself over the face for forgetting my phone.

I peeped behind me to see Umar using his.

I was really bored but there's no way I was going to talk to him so I went ahead to speak to the stiff driver.

I turned to look at him "Hello."

He peeped behind him to look at Umar before he turned to look at me and he gulped before his eyes turned back to the road.
