I grinned at him "I hope you didn't get Edward to stalk me this time to get my birthday, did you?"

"Well not really, Abdul told me actually" He said

I stood up and I  sat on the coffee table so I  was sitting directly opposite him

He weirdly looked at me

"Time for my birthday gift" i told him

"What do you want?" He asked

"You promise you're going to give me?" I asked

He frowned "is it something I can give"

I think!

I shrugged "honestly depends on your mood"

"Why do you keep looking at me like that?" I asked

"Like what" he asked

"Like that!" I said

He gave me that weird look again "just tell me what you want?"

"Ok, the first is, you'll not glare at me and you'll be nice to me until 12 am tomorrow morning" i said

"I'll try" He said

I gaped at him "wow, I'm so hurt"

"The second?" He asked

"Ok, here comes the most important one" i said

"I'm listening" he said

"You have to give me a smile" I told him

He frowned "is that what you really want for your birthday?"

"I told you to give me a smile not a frown, I already see that everyday, and yes, that's what I want"

"That's sad"

I burst out laughing "Umar that was mean, all I want is a smile"

"Are you you sure you didn't take excess coffe
again?" He asked

I smiled "no, I didn't, give me my smile"

He gave me a blank face

"I'm serious fah, I'll keep looking at you until you smile" I said

I kept my eyes on him

He kept eye contact as his lips started to twitch and I knew he was trying not to smile

I smiled when I noticed he was fighting back his smile

He finally released it and a laugh came out of his mouth

I literally froze

Call me over dramatic but it definitely passed my imagination of seeing him smile

I'm not exaggerating it was so beautiful

I gaped at him "are my eyes working well or did Umar Kashim just smile at me"

For the first time since I met him he gave me a playful glare

"We said no glaring mister!" I said

"But on a serious note, you should definitely smile more, no, no, you shouldn't, keep frowning, or else they'll all cast an evil eye on you" I blabbered
