It ended immediately it started
I heard voices coming towards us so I quickly pulled away from him
He still has his arms around my waist
I turned to look at him to see a bit of red lipstick on his lips
I suddenly remembered when that happened with the Nafisa girl
But I tried to push it at the back of my mind
My eyes widened before I brought my thumb to his lips and I started to scrub it off
He chuckled at my reaction
When I was sure it was off I moved away from him and he gave me a small smile and he released my waist just as Rabi'ah and Aliyu showed up
When Rabi'ah saw I was there she gave me a big grin before she rushed forward to hug me
I didn't get to talk to her much because of everyone there
She gave me a bone crashing Hug before she pulled away "I didn't get to tell you how freaking beautiful you looked today, kingan ki? I'm sure Husbands would have been in a long line if you weren't already married to Umar" (Have you seen yourself?)
Umar gave her a weird look
"Yeah, I'll be on that line too" Aliyu joked
The three of us threw a glare at him
"Ok I'll shut up before Umar kills me" he said as he raised his hands up in surrender
"I'll bring her back in 10 minutes" Rabi'ah said as she dragged me with her
We walked back into the building when I remembered something
I tapped her shoulder
She turned to look at me
"So, I guess you and Aliyu sorted things out, I said"
"Yeahhh.." she said
"Are you blushing?" I asked
"Are you mad, how can I blush?"
She asked
"Ok, Rabi'ah, okayy" I said as I laughed at her
We found a coffee table in the reception and we sat down
I didn't want us to go back into the hall because the party was still going on and it was noisy
"Your lipstick is smudged" she said
I frowned before I started to wipe the corners of my lips
Something seemed to click in her head "did you two kiss?!"
"Oh wow, look, my nails are growing" I said
I suck at changing topics..
"Oh shut it, My God, I'm going to faint, you two are super cute" she said with a wide smile on her face
I rolled my eyes at her
"But you two are honestly the cutest, when you went on the stage to play that game everyone was just looking at you two with heart eyes, literally" she said
"You're mad"
"What's that on your hand" she asked
