Chapter 62

The next day I got discharged from the hospital

I wondered how aunty didn't find out about this or how she hasn't been curious where ya Abdul is

But I didn't bother asking

Rabiah already told her parents about how she was going to stay the night with me at the hospital

Ya Abdul insisted he wasn't going to leave me, and Rabiah said the same, Despite me telling them I'll be fine

Rabiah slept on the couch while ya Abdul sat beside me the whole night

We were now in the car

"Where are we going?" I whispered

"Gidan su Umar" Ya Abdul said (Umar's house)

I slowly nodded

He drove us to Umar's house and immediately we entered the street all we could see were cars

"I don't think there's space for us to enter" Rabiah said from the back seat

I nodded in agreement

"But we can't walk, it's too far" ya Abdul said

"Let's try entering, perhaps if the securities see Hameeda they'll let us enter" Rabiah said

Ya Abdul nodded his head before he drove forward

A lot of people were outside, the securities and police weren't letting them in

As Ya Abdul drove forward people were turning to look at him like in confusion as to why he was bothering to move forward when he won't be allowed to enter

He reached the entrance of the first gate

A security came towards him "what are you doing? park outside"

The security turned to look at me

His eyes widened in realization before he motioned for them to opened the gate

"Sorry sir, sorry ma"

Ya Abdul shook his head in amusement as Rabiah let out a short chuckle

I just stared blankly at the gate as they slowly opened it

We drove forward and the second gate was opened too

Inside the house was more filled than outside

There was literally nowhere to park despite how large this house is

"You two should go on, I'll find somewhere to park" Ya Abdul said

I nodded as I and Rabiah came down

Rabiah adjusted the sleeve of my hijab before she held my hand

She gave me a reassuring smile

For some reason my heart was beating so fast

I turned to look at the large garden at our right which was filled with canopies where the Men where seated

Despite them being far away from us I tried to search the crowd for Umar but he was no where in sight

We walked up the stairs and Rabiah opened the large door and we entered

And that was when all eyes turned to us

And Expected, people started talking...

"Toh wannan neh matar Umar din" (ok, she is the Umar's Wife)

"Ni ban gan ta giya ba" ( I didn't see her yesterday)

"Ni Naji Anche makarntan kawun ta Aliyan takeh zuwa har yakai aka sacheh tah" (Me I heard it's her Uncle's school that Aliya went to, and that led to her being kidnapped)
