Chapter 41

"Damn, he needs to teach me how to punch" I mumbled to myself after some time after I woke up to see myself in Umar's room

I literally can't feel my whole back, it's just there, it feels like...nothing

I groaned as I scratched my eyes

I opened them to see Umar looking at me from the chair on the right

He stood up and he walked to me

"What happened?" I asked

"You fell unconscious" he said as he sat beside me

"I already know that" I said

"What was wrong with you?, why did you jump in front of me?" He asked

I honestly didn't even know why

I smiled at him "wife duties" I joked

He gave me a disapproving look but a smile managed to form on his lips

"kar ki Kara" he said (Don't do that again)

"And don't get in a fight again, what caused the fight anyway?" I asked

I tried to sit up only to fall back down

Umar leaned two pillows on the bed frame before he raised me and he leaned me against them

"Thank you" I mumbled

"He walked up to us and he pushed Aliyu, he was about to punch him when I held his hand I entered between them, that was when you came and the punch ended up landing on you"

I frowned

Why would Ya Abdul do this?

I didn't realized I had a frown on until Umar spoke

"Don't frown" he said

I rolled my eyes "says the person who frowns everyday"

"Well at least it doesn't look ugly on me"

I gaped at him "are you calling me ugly Mr Kashim?"

"I didn't say that, why would I say that"

"Then what did you say?"

"I said exactly what I said"

"Get away from me" I whispered as I pushed his hands that were trying to hold me

He chuckled

"Well what did the Doctor say, can i still go back to school tomorrow?" I asked

"Yeah, he Said the pain would leave in some hours, he gave an ointment" he said

"What time is it?" I asked

"4 am" he said

"We are in tomorrow??" I stupidly asked

"We are in today" he said as he brought the ointment out

I rolled my eyes "you know what I mean"
