There's a bit of Hausa here so I'll translate it for those of you who don't understand ❤️

I received a lot of stares today
Apparently almost everyone knew I was married to Umar Kashim
It was so weird
Even people I never talked to came to say hi
I and Rabi'ah talked about what happened after my party and we decided I was going to see Ya Abdul immediately after school
I was now about to go out of school and I decided to call Umar
He answered on the third ring
"Hello?" came his deep voice
"Uh..dama I wanted to tell you I'm going to Aunty's house"
"Toh, meet me in my office after you're done" he said
"Ok, bye"
He hung up the phone
I drove some more minutes until I reached home
The gate man opened the gate and I entered
I turned off the engine and I came out
I met zulaiha at the front door
She grinned when she saw me "Ina wuni"
I grinned back at her "Lafiya kalau, kwana biyu, ban gan ki ba danazo ranan" (Lafiya, two days, I didn't see you when I came that day)
"Eh, naje ganin yaya ta ah suleja" (yes, I went to see my elder sister in Suleja) she said
"Oh Allah sarki" I said
"Aunty na gida?" (Is Aunty at home) I asked
She shook her head "ta fita da Rumaisa" (she's out with Rumaisa)
"Ya Abdul fa?" (What about Ya Abdul)
"Yana parlor din baba" she said (He's in Baba's parlor)
I nodded and I walked to Baba's living room
I entered to see Ya Abdul seated there watching a match
"Knock Knock" I said
He turned to look at me and he smiled "I thought it was Aunty that came back, ashe Keh Che"
"You look like a mess" I said
His hair was literally a bird nest, dark circles were very evident under his eyes
"I know" he said as he stood up
"Won't you give your favorite little sister a hug?" I asked
He smiled before he wrapped his arms around me
I hugged him back
"I'm sorry" he whispered
"Uh..you have to be, my back was so sore for a few hours"
