When Jungkook finally arrived at the small restaurant, Jimin and Taehyung were already waiting for him. Since they tried to look as inconspicuous as possible, all of them wore masks and black, casual clothes: something every celebrity was forced to do if they didn't want to get disturbed by intrusive fans or nosy paparazzi.

"Wow, the owner is going to think we're in some kind of gang shit," Taehyung commented when he saw his new friend taking a seat right across of them.

"So what? I'd rather explain that I'm not a criminal than being surrounded by cameras and people who constantly scream my name," Jungkook answered, hoping no one would recognize him or the other two men.

"Am I the only one who likes the attention?" Jimin put the menu down and looked at his friends. "I would love to show off my new expensive glasses!"

"It's Sunday and I still have a hangover, Min. Please shut up," Taehyung said, stretching his arms, "Man, I really shouldn't drink that much at parties. Who the fuck suggested to visit another club after Namjoon's actual birthday celebration ended?"

"You," Jungkook replied, not taking his eyes away from the card.

"Ugh, please never listen to me again."

After ordering their food, Taehyung was busy texting Seokjin. In a few days, he was going to attend an award show and had asked the older to come along.

"I'm sorry Tae, but I can't cancel Valentino. That's my first time doing a commercial for them!"
- Jin

"It's okay Hyung, I understand."
- Taehyung

"Shit, I don't want to be alone though," Taehyung muttered and caught the other two's attention.
"What's the matter?" Jimin asked.

"So, me and Jin were supposed to go to the AAAs together, right? Well, he just messaged me that he won't be in Korea for the next five days," he sighed, "Jimin, please tell me you're free."

"Sorry, but I'm going to stay in Busan and won't be back until Thursday morning. Dad wants to spend more time with me," the older explained smiling. He was really excited to see his father again, who always seemed to be too busy because of his work.

"What about you, Hyung. Do you have any plans?" Taehyung asked Jungkook.

"Actually no, I should be free-"

"Great, I can't wait to see you then. Remind me to send you all the extra information, okay?" He grinned widely.

Suddenly, Jungkook's phone vibrated, telling him he got a new message from Seohyun. The young father smiled when he saw the picture his wife had sent him.

"Look at Haeun, Kookie. She used to be so small *~* Can't believe I still got that picture."
- Seohyun♡

Jimin stared at him curiously, wondering what could possibly make the doctor this happy.

"Who's that?" he asked.

"Seohyun," Jungkook replied and showed them the picture. Two years ago, they went to Japan together and took a quick selfie with one year old Haeun who was laughing at the funny face her mother was making. She had always been an energetic child.

"Cute," Taehyung said and glanced at Jimin who looked very unimpressed. His best friend was already annoyed with Seohyun.

Why is she bothering us with a silly family picture? Definitely a little too clingy..

Still, the model didn't want to appear rude, so he forced a smile.

"Yeah, you have a lovely family, Hyung."

As if. I'm sure they just pretend. Nobody's relationship could be this perfect.

"Guys, the food is here!" Taehyung announced happily when he saw the waitress slowly approach them. Jimin tried to forget about Seohyun and wanted to make sure that nobody was going to bring her up again.

No, not during his opportunity to become closer with Jungkook.

-

"What if he thinks that I'm annoying? Maybe I shouldn't have sent him that old picture."

After her husband left, Seohyun felt lonely and decided to invite her friend Yuri for coffee. The 29-year-old restaurant owner had been her best friend since high school.

"You guys are a family, Seo. If he thinks you're annoying because of a simple text message, then he's not worth it anyway, sweetheart. Weren't you worried about Jimin though? I think it's important to remind Jungkook that he has a wife who's waiting for him at home."

"Wait, you think that he's capable of cheating on me? Yuri, he would never do that. We love each other and he cares about Haeun," Seohyun explained with a frown. They've been together for years, after all. He needed them as much as they needed him.

"Listen, Jungkook is a good person and definitely a good father. But do you know Park Jimin? People joke about how nobody can resist his charm and it's actually scary what kind of impact he has on you. Even the straightest men would leave their girlfriends for him.

Jimin's flirty and ambitious. He'll go after the people who meet his requirements and he doesn't care if they're already committed to someone else. I've heard some rumours before."

Seohyun stubbornly shook her head. She knew that Yuri was just trying to be a good friend, but the things she told her were hurtful.

Jungkook wasn't like the others. He would never betray his own family, even if someone like Park Jimin tried to seduce him.

Who does he think he is? I'm Jungkook's wife! He would never choose him over me.

"They're probably just friends, so I don't want to cause any drama if it's not neccessary. Please don't bring them up again. Let's turn on the TV and have a good time, alright?"

Yuri sighed, but gave in.

"It wasn't my intention to make you feel bad. I'm sorry," she apologized. The younger smiled at her.

"I know, Unnie. What program do you want to watch?" Seohyun asked to change the topic.

-

Jungkook felt like he was suffocating.

He clung to Jimin's arm and wanted to escape the crowd that was pushing him around. Two bodyguards tried to protect the three famous men until they reached the car and blocked every filthy hand that wanted to touch at least one of them.

When he looked at Jimin, the doctor couldn't believe his eyes: other than him and Taehyung, the model was waving at the fans and paparazzi who somehow managed to find their location.

How is he able to smile through all this mess? Doesn't he feel uncomfortable?

Then again, he was probably used to it.

When they finally arrived at the car, Jungkook released a shaky breath. He definitely needed more time to get used to all the attention again. Right before the door closed, he posed for the cameras one last time.

"Oh man, I really hope they didn't catch my tired face," Taehyung said and closed his eyes, "Wake me up when we arrive at the cinema, okay?"

He was suprised to see the other two this relaxed. Maybe it was him who was a little too dramatic? He turned his head and saw Jimin waving at the crying fans once more.

Jungkook couldn't deny that he had missed the excitement of being a celebrity. The fact that he was thrown into this world again, made him feel both scared and happy at the same time.

While they drove off, Jungkook realized that his heart was beating really fast. He didn't know if it was because of the fans or Jimin's hand which rested on his thigh, trying to calm him down.
