Backstage Fastlane

Xander: Sucks that you don't have a match tonight.

Alexa: It is how it is sometimes. But it's a nice pace since I can focus on my fitness a bit more.

Xander: That's true. Mind helping me warm up?

Alexa: I don't mind.

For 30 mins Alexa helped Xander with his warm-up routine.

Producer: You're up!

Xander: Alright! Let's go!

Alexa: Good luck! Don't hurt yourself!

Xander: Thanks princess!

End of the match...

Shinsuke is loading up the Kinshasa, but Xander evades it by giving him a spinebuster.

Cole: When will this match end?!?

Corey: When one is knocked out cold Cole!

Xander gets up first but is distracted by Sami.  Needless to say Sami got what he deserved.  As Xander turns around he's met with a flurry of kicks from Shinsuke.

Renee: Ooo that was a brutal combination by Shinsuke!

Corey: Here comes the Kinshasa!!!!!

Shinsuke nails him and goes for the pin

Cole: He kicked out! I can't believe this!!!

Corey: Don't say more because Shinsuke is loading him up for another one!!

As Shinsuke goes for it Xander dodges it again and comes off the ropes for a slingblade.  He picks Shinsuke up and delivers a brain buster.

Cole: Brain buster!! Wait...he's picking him up again!

Corey: Cole, I think he's doing The triple tap!

Renee: What's that?

Corey: It's like Eddie's three amigos but instead of 3 suplex it's 3 brainbusters!

Renee: That sounds painful!

After Xander hits Shinsuke with the third brain buster he goes for the pin.

Cole: New Champion! New Champion!!!

Xander exhausted stands up and raises the IC title in the air.

Backstage

As he walks in he's congratulated by Hunter and Vince.

Vince: Great match!

Hunter: That looked like a classic young man!

Xander: Thank you, thank you.

Hunter: Now go freshen up and have the night off.  We'll see you on Friday.

Xander: Yes sir!

Locker room

After Xander got cleaned and packed his stuff he heard a knock on his door so he goes to open it.

Xander: Hey Fergal!

Finn: Great match brother!

Xander: You too Mr. NXT Champion!

He two caught up until another knock and it's showed to be Lexi.

Alexa: Hey great match!

Xander: Thanks!

Finn: I'll leave you two alone.  Catch up later?
