"Hit right, left then dodge," I said to the group in front of me. I was determined to get my cousins back and protect Alex. After revealing my secret to Alex's cousins and friends, I brought them to my basement where there was all sorts of weaponry and a mat to fight. The abandoned house was too far and my house wasn't far from the hospital.
I was currently teaching the girls how to fight while the guys were wrestling each other. The best fighters were Mehilda and Beatriz, they were more experienced. Mehilda had told me that their father made them join a self- defense class because of possible danger. I was thankful that I wouldn't have to struggle with those two. I was mostly struggling with the twins and Dordy. I was surprise when she said she was willing to fight with us. She said she owe that to Alex and I thanked her for that.

Alex was currently recovering. She hasn't woken up yet because of the loss of blood during her surgery. I wonder when she would have a normal life where her life wasn't put in so much danger.

"Charge at me," I said to Ally, she was the weakest out of all of them. She didn't like to get her hands dirty and I constantly reminded her why we were all doing this. She lunged at me and I moved to the other side. She stumbled across the mat and grunted.

"I have been doing this for hours Hunter, you were trained for this and I wasn't. I starting to lose hope," she sighed. I had been working hard on them. Every morning at 4, they were to wake up and go for a mile run. After their mile, they were to retrieve back to my house and start their training. No eating until noon. So breakfast was skipped. I wanted to get my cousins at soon as possible, that turd better feed them. I will kill him if I have to.

"Come on Ally, focus. Remember what I thought you, now come at me," she did exactly what I said and failed again. This kept going on for 30 minutes. Her boyfriend, Chris cheered her on and she tried again. This time she was able to pin me down.
"See I told you you could do it," I smiled at her and offered her my hand to stand up. It was noon and everyone went upstairs to grab something to eat.

"See you guys at 4," I waived at the gang. Beatriz wanted to call us the gummy bear gang and I had to spent an hour and a half explaining to her that this was a rescue mission. I had to remind her that we didn't want the people that captured Beyoncé and Jazz to think that we were a joke.

"If she wakes up, kiss her hello from all of us," Mehilda said with sad eyes. They knew where I was going. This had been going on for a week now. Every break that I could get was spent next to Alex hospital bed waiting for her to open those beautiful eyes that lured me in.

"Will do," I said walking out of my house. I sped down the road anxious to see if she had woken up. This felt like the time she was in the coma for five whole months and I pained me to see her face so pale. The doctor diagnosed her with syncope (episode of fainting) I had told her about the many times that she had fainted and her ran some test.
I scratched the back of my neck and sighed. I hadn't slept or eaten in three days and my muscles ached from the training. I pushed myself harder and harder knowing that I could of protect Alex from the psychopath that had entered her hospital room. I blamed it on myself because I should of been by her side.
I had to make a quick stop before I went to go see her. More weaponry we're needed and I needed to speak to an old friend.

"Hunter! Long time no talk where have you been?!," Leonardo my partner/ friend patted me on the back. It had been two years since my last mission. Leonardo was my partner and a very close friend of mine. I trusted this man with my life. He's the one that made me go back to school after my near death experience. He's the only one that knew about Ryder and why he went to jail. I shudder at the thought of my best friend, may his soul rest in peace.
