Asahi softly sighed as he put on his coat. 6 years. 6 long years. It hurt everyone, but it hurt the most for Asahi and Tanaka.
Although Tanaka managed to move on, Asahi couldn't. Those 6 years hurt more than anything. Asahi managed to get past college and get a job, but that day still haunted his mind.
6 years have passed since Nishinoya Yuu's passing. He was only 19 years old when he got into a car crash. It pissed Asahi off that his lover had to pay the consequences of another.
The driver was charged with 3rd degree murder and drunk driving, he had 3 years in prison but was released 2 years early for "good behavior"
Walking to the flower shop he picked up Nishinoya's favorite flowers. White carnations. He was always so energetic and adorable, it hurt so much to know his fate. The florist made small talk, asking if the bouquet he was buying was for his girlfriend.
He shook his head and smiled saying that it was for a friend. The florist smiled and nodded. Walking towards the nearby graveyard where his lover rested, he sighed and gripped the flowers.
6 years since he's visited.
And 6 years since his confession.
