Asahi watched as the hyper libero and upcoming ace chased their senior manager around the gymnasium. taking a sip of water from the bottle given to him, his eyes never lost track of the small libero. one of their freshmen taking the libero's attention away from Kiyoko. Asahi let out a quiet sigh before returning to practice.
Nishinoya's attention tore away from the conversation with his friends. his attention was focused on Asahi. his formation, body coordination, his brown eyes focused on the ball that was tossed to him. Nishinoya's body moved by instinct, managing to receive the ball before it hit the bottle on the other side of the net.
Nishinoya's eyes looked at Asahi and grinned and gave him a thumbs-up, signaling that he was fine. Asahi gave out a sigh before chuckling and grabbing the ball that had gone astray. Nishinoya gave Asahi a pat on the back with a grin and a compliment. Asahi chuckled and smiled.
