Unedited! I will have a tagline (EDITED BY MISSXDSMILEY) so that you know and so that Maddie gets her credit! :)

So, here’s chapter three! I think EVERYONE loved chapter two, let’s see if people love this one too! Oh, and there WILL be grammar or spelling mistakes, because when I am writing, there always is!

Oh, and this is sad chapter to write, luckily, I do know the pain, because of my grammie, and her situation. :)

Chapter Three

“Thanks for all of the fun!” I wave at Alex. That was my first date, and it was the best ever. I even had my first kiss.

“Thank you,” He points at me, “For the best time ever.” He smiles sincerely.

“See you later, cliche boy!” I shout while shutting the door.

“See you, Princess,” I hear him faintly shout.

When I turn around to head to my room, I bump into a smirking Devon, and a smiling Caitlyn. Crap. I was hoping to escape the annoying questions. (Which I have only read about in cliche romance books, where Caitlyn and Devon would be the mother and father.)

“So, how was your date?” Devon asks, the smirk still remaining on his face.

“Fine.” I answer and try to sneak through them.

Devon grabs my arm and yanks me back. Double crap.

“So, he didn’t try anything did he?” Devon asks, his inner overprotective father mode screaming out.

“Nooo,” I whine. I just wanted to lay down and do some watercolors. Maybe I could do a drawing of Alec.

I shove my way past them, and shout a goodbye, before sprinting to my room and locking the door. Sighing as I fell on the bed, my ringtone begins to ring, the special one I set for Alec. He just can’t get enough of me. I laugh at the thought of that, and prepare to answer.

ALEC’S POV (right when he gets home)

Sorry if it seems like he’s a girl, I suck at guy’s POV

“Mom? Are you here?” I ask, as I enter house. With silence as I my response, I search the table, not seeing a note, and check her room. Her room, and the living room, the only two places that woman will be in by herself, were empty. Deciding to check one last place, I step towards that area.

My room.

“What the fu-” I am interupted when I see that mom isn’t sleeping. She’s dead.

I stand frozen, unable to move. Fuck no, this can’t be happening. The woman who gave birth to me, who raised me. She doesn’t deserve this. Fuck. Why God? Why’d you have to take her.

After regaining my control of my body, actual realization runs through me. She’s gone. She’s not coming back. She was only forty.

I punch the wall, crushing a hole in the wall out of anger and fear.

What am I going to do? She’s the reason I have money to do things, she has a job, and a life. My dad won’t give a shit about me because I was his ‘One-night stand kid’.

I think of what I should do, and then remember the one person that is there for me now, is Phoebe. She’s the only person I can call. Jason, my brother is off at his girl’s place, and he hates me, he’d just say ‘Screw you.’

I picked up my cell phone and start to dial Phoebe’s number. After a couple of rings, she picks up.

“Hello?” Phoebe answers.
