I felt my heart beaten quicken when Caleb said he couldn't get me out of his mind and wanted to start over, my eyes widened in surprise and I felt butterflies. I tried to get a grip of myself, but I just couldn't, so I let out a goofy smile and blushed.
It was weird, I hated Caleb just a few days ago, maybe it was the earlier conversation I had with his grandfather telling me to give Caleb a chance and explaining the condition he grew up in back at home. Even though Caleb acted stone cold nearly all the time, somewhere deep inside he was still a child asking to be loved according to his grandfather.
Not knowing how to reply, I just looked back at the sea and watched the waves crash into the seabed. I guess Caleb knew he had just dropped a bomb because he didn't say anything else and calmly sat beside me.
This continued for a while longer until he covered my hand with his and our hands interlocked, "I mean it Hazel, I would like to get to know you better, and I am sorry I have been a douche." I giggled at his honesty, was this really the Caleb Crofts that called me a gold digger?
"Well don't leave me hanging." He groaned, "Will you give us another chance?" I looked at the incredibly attractive man at my side and started an internal battle in my mind, my head and my heart was simply torn. My brain reminded me nothing good will come out of this marriage, but my heart wanted to console the man in front of me and give him a chance. "I mean he couldn't be that bad if he defended my honour at the Jewellery shop." I thought to myself. However my brain reminded me of Ben and Harry, was I really ready to open my heart again?
I looked up at Caleb and threw some sand at him before sprinting towards the sea shouting"If you can catch me, I will give you an answer." Much to my surprise he stripped down to his swim suit and chased me into the cold sea.

We continuously splashed water at each other and laughed, for the first time since I got to the resort, I was actually having fun and it looked like Caleb was letting his guard down. He picked me up like I only weighed a pound and spun me around.
