Third person's POV
Everyone wasn't quite sure on how to feel. They all witnessed a very terrifying fight. Alzea is dead. Genevieve is unconscious. Azalea went to find Astro. Astro is dead. Everything was bad at the moment.
Azalea and Phil soon returned back and everyone saw her. Her eyes were bloodshot and puffy. They knew what happened. Esme walked over to her and hugged her. The two began to be friends ever since they met.
"Is she awake yet?" Azalea asks
"No, we're beginning to worry" Esme tells her
"Don't worry. It shouldn't take long before she wakes up. However, she's going to be upset once she finds out about Astro" Azalea tells them all
"She's got us all here to be there for her, and so do you" Katherine tells her
"I know. That's why I love and appreciate all of you" Azalea tells them
The sound of Ren and Rose running and giggling into the room, made everyone look at them. They had smiles on their faces and ran over to Azalea. She smiled and pulled them both into a hug.
"Will Mommy be ok?" Ren asks
"I don't know, little one. All we can do is hope" Azalea tells him
Carlisle walked into the room with a smile on his face. He looked to everyone.
"I can't make promises, but I think she's waking up" Carlisle says
"How?" Emmett asks
"I don't know. I saw her hand twitch a bit" Carlisle says
"It's impossible" Azalea says
"What do you mean?" Daniel asks
"I've witnessed Alzea using that spell on other mermaids/mermen before, and it usually takes a few days before they wake up. It's only been a few hours since Alzea used it on Genevieve" Azalea explains
"Well, she is half Vampire. That might be slowing the process down" Carlisle tells her
"I keep forgetting she's part Vampire" Azalea says
"When do you think she'll wake up?" Phil asks
"I want to say later tonight" Carlisle says
"We'll have to wait and see" Rosalie says
"Don't worry. She'll wake up soon" Alice says
"Of course, you saw her waking up" Edward says
"Yup!" Alice says
"Will she be ok?" Jasper asks
"I can't tell. All I see is her waking up" Alice tells him
"Don't worry, Alice. You see what you see. Nothing you can do about it" Azalea tells her
Genevieve's POV
My eyes opened and I felt like I got hit by a truck. I sat up and groaned in pain. I felt a hand touch my shoulder. I looked up and saw Carlisle. I smiled at him and hugged him. He hugged back and squeezed really tight.
"I'm glad you're ok" Carlisle says
"Is everyone else ok?" I asked
"Everyone is fine. Your mother, on the other hand, not so much right now" Carlisle tells me
"Why?" I asked
"Your father" Carlisle says
"He-He died?" I asked tears welling up in my eyes
