Genevieve's POV
It has been a few days since Bella and Edward went on their honeymoon. While they were gone I stayed at the house with Charlie. I didn't want him to be alone. We were watching football on the tv.
"Have you heard from Bella?"Charlie asks
"No. I haven't."I told him
"Have you started planning your wedding, yet? I already have my tux"Charlie asks
"I have been thinking about it, but we are waiting till everything is calm to begin working on it"I told him
"Ok. Just wondering"Charlie says
My phone then goes off making me look at it. It was a text message from Alice. It said to come to Cullen's house. I got up and left. I drove to the house and walked in. When I walked in, I was shocked at what I saw.
Not only is Bella home, but she was pregnant. She looked like she was about to give birth. I slowly walked over making everyone look at me.
"Bella? Are you ok? Am I just seeing something or is it real?"I asked
"It's real, Viv. You're not mad, are you?"Bella asks
"I'm more shocked and confused than mad," I said
I walked over to her slowly and sat down next to her. I hesitantly placed my hand on her stomach. I thought I felt a hand touch the spot where my hand was and smiled. I then looked at Bella to examine her.
She was paler than she was before her wedding. She also had dark bags under her eyes. This is scary. What if she dies?
"The baby loves you already, "Edward tells me
"Really?"I asked
"Yeah. From her thoughts that I saw, she definitely loves you"Edward says
I smiled and placed my hand on Bella's stomach again. Then out of nowhere, I hear a voice in my head. It was the baby and it was a girl. I blocked off my mind so Edward can't see or hear us.
"Hello?"The baby asks
"Hi, I am your aunt"I tell her
"I'm hungry," The baby says
"What are you hungry for?" I asked her
"Blood"The baby tells me
I then didn't hear the baby no more. I then felt dizzy and everything turned black. All I remember is falling to the floor.
Carlisle's POV
I was talking to Esme about the baby. I was watching Gennie place her hand on Bella's stomach again. She then zoned out making me worried. What was she seeing or hearing?
Next thing I knew, Gennie collapses onto the floor and was unconscious. I hurried and ran over to her in worry for her. Emmett helped me lift her onto the couch next to Bella.
"What happened?"Daniel asks
"I don't know. All I see is her collapsing on the floor"I told him
"Carlisle, I was reading the baby's mind as soon as Mom placed her hand on Bella's stomach. It was like the baby was talking to someone. Like she was talking to Mom"Edward tells me
"How is that even possible?"Esme asks
"Is it possible Gen has more powers than we thought?"Jasper asks
"Probably, "I said
"I'm confused. Why did she pass out? She's a vampire now, she can't just fall unconscious"Rosalie says
"Her mermaid side"Daniel says aloud
I turned to him with crossed arms. I was confused on what he meant. She's a vampire now, she isn't a mermaid no more.
"What do you mean, love?"Esme asks
"Before she was changed, she was a mermaid. What if her mermaid side didn't fully disappear when she was turned? She probably has her powers from her mermaid side" Daniel tells us all
"I can see the logic to that"Rosalie says shrugging
"What do you think the baby told Viv?"Bella asks
"I heard the baby say that it's hungry and it wants blood"Edward says
Jacob than walked in, making everyone shocked. He looked at Bella all smiley, then he looked at Gen.
"What happened to Gennie?"Jacob asks
"Before we tell you what happened, I need to show you something, "Bella tells him
"What's wrong?"Jacob asks
Bella holds her hand out to Rosalie, who helped her stand up, and showed her pregnant stomach to Jacob. Jacob marched over to Edward, as Emmett placed a hand on Jacob's chest making him stop.
"You did this!"Jacob said pointing at Edward
"We didn't even know it was possible," I told him
"What is it?"Jacob asks confused and a little bit angry still
"I'm not sure. Ultrasounds and needles won't penetrate the embryonic sac. However, we found out that Gennie can...communicate with the baby."I tell him
"I can't see it, either, and I can't see Bella's future anymore," Alice says
"We've been researching legends, but there isn't much to go on. What we do know is that it's strong and fast-growing."Daniel says
"It knocked Gennie out, after the baby talked to her," Esme says
"Why haven't you done anything? Take it out of her!"Jacob says trudging over to me
"This is none of your business, dog, "Rosalie tells him
"Rose! All this fighting isn't helping Bella! None of it!"Gennie says
I ran over to her, as everyone looked at her curious. Gennie placed her hand on my cheek, before kissing it.
"Are you ok?"I asked
"I'm fine. I don't know what happened, but I am ok. Now we need to worry about Bella"Gennie says looking at Bella
"The fetus isn't good for Bella"Alice says
"Say the word Alice. Baby. It's just a baby" Rosalie tells her
"Possibly"Jasper says sticking up for Alice
"Carlisle, you've got to do something," Jacob tells me
"No!"Gennie and Bella say in unison
"It's not any of yours decisions. It's not any of yours."Bella says
"Jacob, I need to talk to you"Edward tells Jacob
"What if I was pregnant? Would you get rid of my baby, too?"Gennie asks
I looked at her with shock and fear. We've never talked about us having kids. I walked over to her, only for her to speed off.
