BLUE HOUR: The Primes

"Show your respect! The King and Queen of the seven seas are approaching!" Coleen immediately announced and everyone immediately lowered their heads.

"Pfft! I ain't bowing to some fish!" Yalex calmly mumbled to himself while grinning mischievously.

"Shut up! You're gonna get us in trouble!" Ysabella suddenly snapped at him before shoving his head to bow.

A few minutes later and drumrolls started echoing all over the darkness. They could all hear the harsh movements of water that clearly screams of a large group coming in close.

And if it wasn't for Blue's lights... they wouldn't have seen the King and Queen of the seven seas.

They made a grandiose entrance with layers of royal guards surrounding around them in a protective manner.

They were all aggressive. And compare to Jade, those water creatures are more savage and dangerous.

Especially to lay a gaze upon dark creatures. The black sorcerer to be specific. It's no longer new to them about the news that black sorcerers massacred the race of white sorcerers, but they weren't fully aware that one sorceress survived.

Trevor could feel somethig churn in his stomach. He knows exactly the meaning of those judging gazes. And he's aware that it's all over the same issue again.

"Greetings! Your Majesties!" Samuel spoke in an all too deep voice. A tone he had stopped using ever since the destruction of his kingdom.

The winter prince gently bowed his head as he greets the two royals. The others except Yalex following after him. And of course Ysabella have to shove Yalex head again.

The Queen gestured them to look up. But none of them except Yalex again, looked directly to the royal couple. It's kind of like a manner etiquette that nobody is allowed to look at the King and Queen directly.

"Hello." Yalex chuckled with a rather fibbly manner and Ysabella had to shove his head down again for the third time today.

Jade swam close to her parents. The family swam in circles as they reunite with each other.
There was this smile on Jade's lips that quickly caught Samuel's attention. And he couldn't help but fall for that smile as he watches them.

However. Those quickly faded when the King gestures something at Jade. A gesture of sort that made Jade look dull.

They conversed in their own language and everyone looked at Coleen since she's the one who knows mermaids the most.

"Please tell me that those fi--" Yalex was cut off immediately by Ysabella's glare. "T-those c-creatures! Are not talking about feeding us to krakens!" Yalex said while trying to avoid the piercing glare of the phoenix.

It's not that he's scared or something. It actually turns him on and he finds that really embarassing. Especially knowing how Samuel will use it to mock or blackmail him someday.

"I-it's actually a very s-serious matter." Coleen mumbled and looked at Trevor. The black sorcerer read from her mind and was beyond surprised at what he found out.

"You have to tell them. So we can back her up." Trevor whispered at her.

"But isn't it a matter between their species. We're not suppose to interfere." She whispered back.

"Still. We're the only ones that can help her now."

"What are you two talking about?" Rhian suddenly joined in their whispering.

The two immediately backed away from her before they turned at Samuel who looks totally confused.

"What is it? Why are you two looking at me like that?" He asked.

"T-they were asking her... A-about the p-partner she's supposed to return with. You know about it right?" Coleen said and whispered at the last part so they all looked like a gossiping gang while leaning forward in a circle and Blue is the look out.

Samuel was quick to blush at her statement. Especially now that Rhian and Yalex are both grinning at him ear to ear.

"Okay! I'm confused! What's going on?" Ysabella asked.

"Our fish friend right there is ordered to come to land to find a mate to continue their pureblood race! And hey!!!" Yalex suddenly yelled at the arguing family which automatically caught everyone's attention.

Samuel immediately run to him and attempted to cover his mouth but Yalex is already excited and effortlessly kept Samuel away.
The others just looked away and avoiding his embarassing commotion.

"This guy here is a prince too! You know what that means!?" Yalex laughed while pointing at Samuel who's literally never felt so embarassed in his entire existence until this moment.

"Y'all have my permission! He's a winter prince and he's aging old very single!"

"Yalex shut up!!!" Samuel whisper yelled at him as he tugs on the demon's clothes. Practically begging for him to stop.

"Oh shush! I'm doing you a favor and you're gonna thank me for this!" Yalex effortlessly pushed him away and stepped out of the air bubble. Casually walking udnerwater like it's only a piece of cake.

The royal guards quickly blocked his way but the demon effortlessly shoved them away from his path with just a swift move of his fingers.

A proud smirk plays on his lips as he walks towards the royal family with locked gazes.

"I propose a deal! We can say that your daughter succeeded with your given task. That she may return with a partner to continue your dropping race." He spoke along as he made the gestures of their language.

"And that my friend over there. Is last of his race. He is the only one left of the winter people and it sucks to see him withering single because he's always being nosy with my business."

"So I'd really appreciate it if you accept this deal. After all. He's a prince. She's a princess. It's gonna be a win-win situation."

The sooner Yalex finished. The King kept a locked gaze with him. A few more seconds. He looked at his daughter and asked again in their language.

Jade was quick to respond. But this time. She was smiling as if trying to agree or convince them of some sort.
The King then turned to Samuel and asked something to him.

"The King asks. If it's true that you're a winter prince." Coleen said to him and Samuel immediately said yes which Coleen translated for him.

The King turned to his family. A small smile paints his lips and Jade became very lively at whatever her father had said.

She quickly swam back near the air bubble with Yalex.

"I don't know what they said but I assume that it's good." Rhian snickered and stood beside the prince while Yalex returned back to the air bubble.

The King and the Queen swam closer to their air bubble. He made another gesture again which definitely took Coleen by surprise. Trevor had the same reaction when he read from Coleen's mind.

The two nervously looked at each other and Trevor had to nudge her to hurry and translate for Samuel.

"T-the King asks..."

"What dowry would you wish to accept the royal wedding."
